We just need something a little less serious. If you post something negative it will be deleted. Plenty of other threads to wallow in. This is going to bring the team together. Adversity makes people stronger. Tua will be out one game and White will step up.
On a positive note… Achane proved to me he can carry the load at running back, and he was questionable at game time!
I look forward to seeing what Paul can do at LT. And the progression of Chop. I also think Thompson can keep us in games.
I think, this being only McD’s 3rd season as a HC, he’s been exposed to some tough situations that will only make him a better coach down the road.
I'm hoping after the bi-week we get to see Jaylen Wright on the field for his first big regular season showing. The kid looked amazing in preseason, and paints a nice bright picture for the future of Miami's run game. With the unfortunate injury to Tua it would be good to see something positive come out of this year. I think he adds a great deal to an already talented backfield.
Jonnuh Smith had a decent game, hopefully there is more to come and we have a receiving threat at TE (who can also block).
A major positive: reports say Tua is not planning to retire, which means we don't have to consider tanking the season (deliberately or not) or resigning ourselves to just being mediocre. Hopefully he can come back soon.
I’m positive that if I made my living betting on the NFL, I’d have lost way more than my shirt this week, lol.
