The footage of how he got injured. Now you‘re happy again because you think you‘ve got me, pathetic. It’s still an all day everyday NFL tackle and not violent…
So now you’re position is NFL tackles aren’t violent? Maybe you should get checked out for brain trauma?
Wait… it’s got to be a language thing because I’m not sure he’d be able to turn on the computer if he was this far gone.
Coming from you, that’s a compliment. Now keep on derailing this thread so it gets shut down again… lol
DOES IT EFFING MATTER?!?!?!? GOD DAMN, you folks that have this “EVERYONE HAS TO KNOW IM RIGHT” complex are what’s turning what was a great site into pure sh!t ****KNOCK IT OFF ALL OF YOU****
Stop your crying. You are your own worst enemy. Either say what you (supposedly) mean or don’t whine when someone calls you out for something asinine and then claim you’re being misrepresented.
I just saw rapsheets message on Threads. I missed the part where Mcdaniels told the media today theyre moving forward with Skylar and signing a qb for depth and theres no timeline for Tua. wonder who theyll sign
Tank? After giving up an extension to Mcdaniels, Ramsey, Waddle, Tyreek and tua? Meaningless after just week 2 really? We arent tanking for anyone with those extensions. If we end up 8-9 and miss the playoffs it is what it is.
I know it sucks but after yesterday do you really have a shot this season? I don’t and I don’t see a QB out there to solve our problems. Bridgewater, trade for Jinmy G.?
They jumped off the plane without a backup parachute. Be bad or be good, but mediocrity is worse. Don't ever draft high to get yourself out of it.
But you still PLAY and build on what you have. Then (provided Tua is gone) all you need for next season is a quarterback to helm the ship. When you tank, you’re starting all over again…and that’s at least a 3 year process.
I think it was a combination of him leading his head straight into Hamlin and then falling backwards and slamming his head on the field. I don't think either of those actions alone concuss him, but together they do. He should have slid. You would think a guy that has rocks in his head wouldn't be so easily concussed. I hope he makes a full recovery and start sliding like he should.
I know. I was trying to police all of this but they all complained about posts be altered and taken down. Watch out for what you wish for - you just might get it.
I meant tank in not getting a QB and sticking with what you have depending on how everything evolves, I would consider trading assets.
If Tua doesn't come back, then I think the best strategy is to tank, and we better do it right this time, not mess it up like last time. Tanking won't even look deliberate as long as we play Skylar. You tank to get the best QB in the draft, if necessary multiple years, until you find that one crucial piece. If you can find him on a rookie contract we're in business.
I would trade for maybe like a Trey Lance, and see if you can hone his raw skillset. You probably still suck and are tanking as you work through it, but you actually have high upside potential (along with high bust obviously). Skylar offers neither. I also wouldn't get a mediocre QB. Finishing middling is worst case scenario for me.
Lance is on the Cowboys, isn't he? They got him for a 4th rounder. Cooper Rush is still the Cowboys #2, and they just gave Prescott a big deal. Lance seems expendable, and pretty expensive.
Hold your nose and bring out the barf bags, maybe russell wilson gets traded here and pittsburgh moves forward with fields..
Trey Lance Mac Jones Cooper Rush Russell Wilson Sam Howell Joshua Dobbs Jimmy G It aint pretty but i think those are the choices the dolphins will explore.. my guess is joshua dobbs and jimmy g are at the top of the list having been part of the shanahan tree
We probably dont have a shot but theres no way this team with the salaries in place, the vets they brought in, are going to tank. They will win gsmes this season. We may go 8-9 or maybe go on a surprising run to the playoffs. But there is no tanking when youre taking that kind of coin from the salary cap. Both waddle and hill would have to have season ending injuries before the tank talk begins
This is kind of my thought. And of course it's somewhat dependent on when/if Tua returns. If he retires or at least takes the season off for recovery, I think we are something like last year's Bengals who missed Burrow for the bulk of the season. So maybe drafting in the middle of the draft, living in the middle of the pack. Not good enough to do anything of value but not bad enough to get the elite QB talent. As a fan, we are in a frustrating spot and it's not surprising that many just want a clean slate. I'm not sure old man Ross would go for a total rebuild, but who knows. The range of options here is huge and there is no clear right way.
I think its very telling how McDaniels reacted yesterday and today when questioned about Tua than in the past. His tone has changed. Before, he just treated it like a regular injury, with the expectation of Tua coming back, hes here to coach Tua. but after what happened yesterday, the way he answered thise questions, the little thing he told tua as tua was walking outz, mike doesnt want to say how he feels because he thinks its unfair to tua but you can tell hes thinking tua should retire.
"I told him he's the starting quarterback of his family, to go to the locker room, take a deep breath and I'll see you soon." It's certainly an odd thing for McDaniel to say in the moment and then tell the press. This was a good take I thought:
