Huh? If memory serves me correctly, didn’t Achane average like 9.7 yards per carry last season? Achane isn’t going anywhere. He’s going to be teamed up with Wright as the running back tandem after Miami moves on from Mostert.
7.8 Y/C in 2023. Funny thing is he doesn't get on many leaderboards for rushing Y/C last season because he only had 103 carries while the "qualifying" number of carries is 106 = 6.25 carries on average per game. But otherwise the next best rusher by Y/C was Lamar Jackson at 5.5. So what Achane did was pretty special. Question is whether that was too small a sample size. We'll see this year.
Yep...One loss and the season goes completely down the drain. No excuses! I want to see a fired up, pissed off, screaming coach McDaniel!
I think we can beat Buffalo. Schedule people aren't doing us any favors with this one, but I expect us to be ready to go for this one. It won't be easy. Buffalo owns us at the moment. It wouldn't surprise me at all if we just get smoked. I'd rather not have that happen tho. Play mistake free and we can beat them.
Just seems like he is always on the injury report, especially after being called upon for more than a few carries. He might not be durable enough to play running back in the NFL. Hopefully, I’m wrong.
Wiiiiiide open. Not a good start to this one. INT... then a way too easy TD. Some things never change I guess.
I don’t understand how Long was supposed to be covering the RB coming out of the backfield when he was on the wrong side of center. I get the corner blitz, but that coverage design was quite flawed. Should have been the weak side OLB, not Long.
