Its also why he got the deal he got

Its just can't really be Will Fuller because he isn't getting as much and he isn't as important to the group

It's the initial 53 man roster. It will change. There's zero chance we're keeping four receivers.

White signed with Buffalo. One more move and he completes his AFC East bingo card.

The Vikings cut safety Bobby McCain and running back Myles Gaskin yesterday, but they’re not leaving Minnesota. Both McCain and Gaskin are signing to the Vikings’ practice squad, according to Adam Schefter of ESPN.

McCain and Gaskin are vested veterans who were not subject to waivers and are eligible to sign wherever they want immediately, and they’re choosing to stay where they are. Players who are put on waivers have to go to any team that claims them, but players not subject to waivers become free agents as soon as they are officially released.

The 31-year-old McCain signed with the Vikings a month ago after previously spending six seasons with the Dolphins, two with the Commanders and one with the Giants.

The 27-year-old Gaskin was the Dolphins’ starting running back for a couple of years but last year only played special teams, never offense, in stints with the Rams and Vikings.

Tannehill is waiting for a Flacco type situation.

Yeah I don't see how Boyle is an upgrade. I guess he's cheaper. But he's been trash everywhere he's been.

I could be wrong, but it’s my understanding that they can’t bring Boyle up unless he’s on the 53 man roster and if the #1 and #2 QB’s are injured. If that’s true then he’s just PS fodder.

There are probably a few people here that would entertain the idea that Boyle could produce just as good as Tua does in this offense. I'm waiting for them to show up.

I mean yeah he's not supplanting Thompson, but I'd still rather have ... a Thompson like guy to develop. If your down to a third QB that's pretty much desperation territory. I'd take some random fresh out of college JAG who maybe doesn't have tape on him yet over a dumpster like Boyle.

Also, we apparently are bringing back Chosen Anderson for some reason. I dunno, this wide receiver room looking a little suspect suddenly. Need healthy years from Hill and Waddle.

If it gets that desperate that is when you call Tannehill.

I don't really want to see anymore of Chosen but not too hung up on who they add to the practice squad. What they really need and probably expect is for Jonnu to step up.

It seemed for about a minute the receiver room was stacked. Not so much now.
