Figured we have a thread where all tweets and reports from analysts and beat reporters could go for this years training camp.

Vets report on Tuesday, guess we’re not gonna have Tua for that unless he reports in but does not scrimmage until his contract is done.

    Adios Shaq Barrett..

In wake of Shaq Barrett retirement, Dolphins are auditioning multiple edge players on Monday. Besides Ogbah, Yannick Ngakoue also will be at Dolphins headquarters on Monday, Drew Rosenhaus said on his WSVN-7 Fox segment. (There could be others)

The Seahawks are checking in with a veteran offensive lineman. Center Connor Williams is taking a visit with Seattle on Tuesday, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

Williams, 27, is coming off a torn ACL suffered in Week 14 while playing for the Dolphins last season. He spent 2022 and 2023 with Miami, starting 26 games for the AFC East squad. A second-round pick in 2018, Williams appeared in 57 games with 51 starts for the Cowboys in his first four seasons.

Emmanuel Ogbah is set to rejoin the Dolphins. Ogbah worked out for the team on Monday and multiple reports on Tuesday morning say that he will be signing with the team. The Dolphins also worked out Yannick Ngakoue as they looked for edge rushing help in the wake of Shaq Barrett’s decision to retire.

Ogbah spent the last four seasons with the Dolphins before being released in February in a cap-saving move by the AFC East team. He had 18 sacks over his first two seasons and returned from a 2022 triceps tear to pick up 5.5 sacks in a rotational role last year.

The Dolphins are waiting for Bradley Chubb, Jaelan Phillips, and Cameron Goode to be cleared to return to action, which leaves Ogbah, first-round pick Chop Robinson, and fifth-round pick Mohamed Kamara as available options.

Jakeem Grant was among a group of wide receivers and returners the Giants worked out on Monday.

The Giants’ receivers were worked out with special teams in mind, according to Art Stapleton of the Bergen Record. Grant has four career punt return touchdowns and two career kickoff return touchdowns, and the new kickoff rule has NFL teams increasingly seeing value in players with big-play ability in the return game.

Originally a sixth-round pick of the Dolphins in 2016, Grant spent six seasons in Miami and was a Pro Bowl returner in 2021. He also played briefly for the Bears and has 100 catches in his career. Grant hasn’t played in the regular season since 2021. He suffered a torn Achilles tendon in training camp with the Browns in 2022 and suffered a torn patellar tendon in the preseason with the Browns in 2023.

Both Jaylen Waddle and Tyreek Hill have spoken highly of Tua as the Dolphins' vets report to training camp today. He's in the building, his spirits are high and Hill expects him to participate in practices

Tyreek says reflecting upon the 2,000 yard goal, he thinks it was selfish of him. His new individual goal is a team goal, to win a playoff game, continuing to build on that and win a Super Bowl.

Receiver Odell Beckham Jr. is not ready to practice as the Dolphins begin training camp this week. Per Tom Pelissero of NFL Media, Miami is placing Beckham on the physically unable to perform list. While Beckham’s injury has not been disclosed, it doesn’t appear as if Beckham will have an extended absence. Pelissero’s report notes that Beckham is “working through minor things” so this is the Dolphins’ plan to ease him into action.

Beckham, 31, signed a one-year deal with the Dolphins in May after spending last season with the Ravens. In 14 regular-season games last year, he caught 35 passes for 565 yards with three touchdowns. Beckham also had four catches for 34 yards in two postseason games.

The Miami #Dolphins make some roster moves prior to the start of training camp tomorrow, including the signing of a familiar face in LB Emmanuel Ogbah, placing LB David Long Jr. and WR Odell Beckham Jr. on the active/PUP list and WR Tahj Washington moves to reserve/injured list.

On the second 7-on-7 play, safety Jevon Holland collided with Malik Washington converging on a pass from Tua. Holland flipped over Washington, tried to go back into drills briefly and then was attended to by trainers.

Defense very clearly won the day today — multiple turnovers, multiple sacks Wasn’t necessarily the quarterbacks’ fault, but offensive line getting a talking to after practice.

Dolphins just wrapped up their first day of training camp — Tua sat out most of 11v11 drills but did come in for two snaps He handed the ball off both times

Practice is a wrap. The defense had themselves a day with four picks -- Vandenburgh, Needham, Poyer and Neal. Defense did a great job creating pressures/pressure looks at it got to the QBs. Tua was surgical in 7v7. Had some darts to the perimeter right on time/on target.

From most reports Tua was sharp today, running as well, the great ones anticipate pressure early and move.

If he finally gets this and runs a little, he’ll be in the mvp hunt at the end of year

Julian Hill has another impressive all tight end practice, man I hope that kid becomes a very good tight end we can depend on.

He’s improved from all accounts and doing catching and blocking

Big upgrade from Smythe if he keeps it up

Encouraged from what I hear from the D. Run D seems solid and our new coordinator seems to be using players all over the place, like Chop inside for instance also there seem to be some "no names" playing big like Quinnen Bell (hope I got that right :)) and Ogbah seems to be thriving as well. The only real concern seem to be the CB's hope Bonner or some other guy steps up.

Throw out practice today, it was a weird day

3/5ths of our starting line out, one starter was Liam.

Atlanta throwing blitzes on every play

We were just working on fundamentals and no play calling they were trying to win it seemed.

All nicked up players are fine I’m watching all of them closely

Wynn and brewer those are the only two I’m worried about but they are two starters so
