What? I am talking about being right about the Packers regular season win total last year. Why would I have to be on this forum to make a win total prediction for the Packers?

Since you claim to own the site. Please check if I ever registered here ever before today.

Before you make false accusations, please make sure you know who you are talking to. You just went on my ignore list.

Were you right about the Packers last season? I don’t know…and neither does anyone else. You’re making claims that can’t be validated.

Here’s a tidbit of a fact…a person’s writing style can’t be altered. If a person writes in a certain manner, they always write in that manner.

Yes, I was right about my prediction for the Packers win total for the regular season which was 9. Add the playoff win & makes it 10 wins total. I really don't care if you believe I made that regular season prediction for the Packers last offseason.

Look, please ask the staff here if I was ever registered on this forum before if you are so worried about it
Your conspiracy theory is ridiculous. Please do not accuse people of things you know nothing about. Thanks.

Now you actually are on my ignore list. I normally give everyone a chance, but not when someone shows they are clearly unstable. I hope you find the help you need. I really do.

    Good luck!

Member since today with 8 messages. Are you sure you're not thinking of a Vikings forum? How many wins do you think Erin Roogars will have this year? I think he's going to win 8 games and retire.

It was 20-13 at halftime. Not sure anyone would call that "running away with the game."

Also, if I remember correctly, Tua had a bad concussion from hitting his head on the turf earlier that season, then hit his head on the turf again in the Packers game. Wasn't a dirty "hit" or anything close to that.

Unfortunate concussion issues for Tua that season.

I’m in Malaysia with spotty cell. Solved one problem and don’t need another one to pop up. Tread lightly my Packer friend. I tend to give people some latitude. But you’ve already been warned. Keep it football related and not personal. It’s fun to have rivalries. But you get less rope than the locals. Cheers.

Looking forward to this one on Thanksgiving 2024. Should be a fantastic game. Two teams that will for sure be in the playoff hunt in week 13. May the best team win. Like last Thanksgiving when the Pack beat the Lions pretty handily.

I don’t know, do you think I’ll be alright?

You know, I don’t mind fans from other teams frequenting the site. Remember “Aaron Rodgers” I believe it was? Die hard Packers fan but was always genuinely respectful and pleasant. As I recall, his very first post was an introductory post letting us know who he was and his intentions coming here.

I don’t mind folks like that whatsoever.

Yeah after 20 years we can spot the smart ones and the not so much ones :)

This board is too mature, too experienced in football and life to allow people to come here and try to flex.

Well, why discuss the season at all? It isn't played until September.

The thread is about the way too early 2024 season predictions.

Dolphins are 10-6 all time vs GB
They are 4-3 all time in Lambeau Field

How pathetic does one have to be to troll another team’s fan forum while changing teams every few years?

Here's an early stat about Week 1, which is less "too early" than the rest.

The Dolphins are 5-0 against the Jaguars when they rush for at least 80 yards, and allowed 13 or fewer points on defense in all five of those games.

They are 0-5 against Jacksonville when they fail to rush for at least 80 yards, and have given up 17+ points and an average of 23.

While simplistic and a small sample, I think its fair to see the series between the two teams as a great example of complimentary team football where one side helps the other do their job better, and that if the Fins hadn't been so inept at running the ball in the losses, they probably could have won every one of the games.

Last year's Dolphins ran for an average of 135.8 per game and added talent in the RB room this offseason, plus they were often missing players to injury last season. So for Week 1, I think its safe to say that history tells us they hold a distinct advantage heading into the game, especially at home.

    Bonus fact:
All five of the Dolphins previous regular season losses to Jacksonville came in seasons where their head coach would quit or be fired after the year. Flores, Gase, Philbin, Saban, and Jimmy Johnson, who quit but was talked into coming back for one more year, and then ended up finishing his career with the infamous playoff loss to the Jaguars that next season.

And in Saban's case, its believed that the Jacksonville game is the one immediately following his decision to quit on the team. The Jaguars loss was also Gase's last home game, and might have been the final nail in his coffin, while losing to the Jaguars, who had gone 3-13 the year prior and would go 5-11 that season, was the first step in getting Philbin canned several weeks later.

The Jags have an improved roster and Doug Pederson is a quality coach. Trevor Lawrence needs to earn the contract he got.

Will be an interesting week 1 game.

The line is tight at Dolphins -3.5 at the moment. Dolphins at home. Teams that are evenly matched, the home team will always be favored by at least a FG. This is basically a pick' em game.

OK, the name calling has not stopped despite my request. I'm sorry but this thread will be closed. I've handed out warnings and points. Let's stop it here.
Another team's fan is welcome on the site as long as the conversations are germane to the topics and not over the top. While I may not like it, name calling is not the solution. Use your "ignore" function.
