12-5 and the second seed in the AFC. This assumes the injury bug is minimal this year and the OL is at least average. If Rogers gets hurt again this year? Then a win @New York (Jersey) to end the season pushes us to 13-4 and the top seed in the AFC.

I think they have a great chance of going 9-2 over their first 11 games.
The last 6 look brutal. 49ers, @Cleveland, @Houston, and @GB. Hopefully McDaniels can keep up his undefeated streak against the Yets. If he does, I think the Houston and GB (weather depending) are the two easiest of the other 4 games.

Saying that, those first few games will be harder than they look because the defense is going to be playing inn a new scheme and most likely without Chubb and possibly without JP.

12-5 is my too early prediction. A few weeks ago Vegas had the Dolphins winning 10 games. So 12 isn’t out of the question.

I feel the exact same way. I saw today that they're the early favorite in ten of the first eleven. If healthy, nine wins to start is very much on the table. Then....we just see where the other teams stand and try to win the home games. I think 11 wins is probably a fair estimate.

A few weeks ago was before the schedule came out. I haven’t looked recently, but would assume oddsmakers may have them winning more due to the schedule make-up. Anything is possible, but I doubt you’d find anyone who thinks the Dolphins will win only 8 or 9 games this season… so yes, 8 or 9 wins is out of the question.

No, 8 or 9 is not out of the question.

12 or 13 is not out of the question either and it’s even possible *GULP* 6 or 7 isn’t out of the question.

This is professional football and as such, anybody can beat anybody on any given Sunday. Hell, we lost to a joke of a team in the Titans last season.

Is this where I whine and claim that you misrepresented me and won’t let me have my opinion? Lmao

You should read my entire post.

    “ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE”

Did you skip over that part? I forget that nuance around this place is hard to come by and as such I need to spell everything out like I do to my 6 yr old.

    Let’s try this:

“Anything is possible, but IMO winning 8-9 games is out of the question.”

    Feel better?

No, I just wasnt sure if it was possible, or "out of the question," which was how you ended, so I went with your statement at the end.

You apparently don't even know what you mean, since you contradicted yourself in the same post.

I didn’t contradict myself. I mean, I think it’s possible that the Sun may explode tomorrow, but I think that’s out of the question. The former is an improbable possibility while the latter is my opinion.

With how quickly the Dolphins have gotten out of the gate the last 2 seasons under McDaniel…and if the team stays healthy, I can actually see us at 7-0 before facing Buffalo again in November.

Health is of course vital, and playing at Seattle is a challenge, especially for the Dolphins, who have to make the longest regular road trip in the league to do it. But otherwise, there's no reason that they shouldn't be favored in every single game up until going to Buffalo, I agree.

They're really set up to go into Green Bay on Thanksgiving night as one of the top teams in the league, and then we'll see what happens from then on. The Jets have one of the biggest bust potentials of any team in the league, and if they can implode before we face them twice, that would be really helpful obviously.

Yea I’m worried about the Seattle game myself. A potential trap game.

Call me…jaded if you will…I have complete faith in the NY Jets…to implode and fail

The good thing about Seattle is that we'll have a mini-bye before that, playing Buffalo on Thursday. So at least they'll be rested, and maybe will travel a day early. Its a tough place for visiting teams, and the Seahawks traditionally have a very good record when hosting teams from the East Coast, much like Miami does vs those from the West.

Counting playoffs, the Fins have scored 20, 19, 20, 24, 17 and 10 points in prior trips there. And each of the three wins required a go ahead TD late in the 4th quarter to make it happen.

It is funny seeing so many here having the Dolphins having like 12 wins.

I know one win they will have a hard time getting: Week 13 in Green Bay at Lambeau Field.

I see it as their second loss of the season probably. Winning there, at night, at the end of November will be very hard.

Yeah, I think it will be a good game. You are right about the Packers probably winning though.

The weather isn't that bad in late November. It will probably be like 40 degrees. Not cold really at all. It doesn't get real cold until mid December and January. It also rarely snows in November.

Dolphins shouldn't worry about the weather. No excuses lol.

Mia v Jax: Jax 27-21 (Everyone loses their minds and throws the season away. Tua gets called skinny/fat for the first time in his life. A coach McDaniels bashfest ensues on the board. People post a video of Kurt Warner fighting with Pat McaFee over Tua to support a stance. Stats from twitter are posted to support anti-Tua stances. Basketball player Grayson Allen (a known Jaguar fan) calls Tua and the Dolphins trash! Pumpdogs instantly goes out and buys a Grayson Allen jersey)!

Mia v Buff: Buffalo 50-14 (Panic sets in at 0-2, riots aplenty and lifetime bans arguing over Tua. Lots of whining about Josh Allens greatness, we'll never beat Buffalo blah blah blah. McDaniel starts to get some early heat on here while others praise DeMeco Ryans and CJ Stroud. Sean McDermott will be lauded as not only a great coach on here, but an incredible high school wrestler. Crash Jensen returns to spread hate. Resnor gets into a fight with three Tua supporters on here while claiming that he doesn't hate Tua).

Mia @ Sea: Fins 24-21 (GW field goal in OT, the board chills out for a week, but Resnor is still at with DanMarino over Tua. Claims he's doing nothing wrong! DanMarino verbally insults him and then later they make peace and hug it out).

Mia v Tenn: Fins 24-14 (Defense starts to look better, Tua plays with efficiency, but he's fat this week so that's bad. Oh...we lose a key player this week too. Canez tells me to go dance pantless in front of my Tua poster because I say he has a good game. Then I get called a liberal for supporting Tua. I'm baffled, a bit confused at this point...but it's short lived).

Mia @ NE: Fins 14-10 (We all predict a blowout, but get this. People complain about Tuas release and deep ball, but we're 3-2! McDaniels gets blasted for his playcalling on here and Hitman accuses the coach of being high on marijuana. "Don Shula would have never dabbed before a game!" Tua haters praise Drake Maye for how amazing he looked while bashing Tuas skinny/fat physique).

Mia @ Ind: Fins 38-35 (Thriller of a game. Anthony Richardson becomes the new Justin Herbert on this forum after rushing for 200 yards against us! Tua has a new haircut and Destroyer doesn't like it. Aquapride suggests that it's not a very professional look and that he should quit playing golf...But we're 4-2.)

Mia v Arz: Fins 42-31 (Finally a game where we are rolling, but Arizona comes back late to scare us, board loses its mind of how the defense can't close out games. Liam Eichenberg trips and falls while blocking the air and almost gets Tua murdered. "We should have kept Vic Fangio" but we're 5-2).

Mia @ Buff: Buffalo 59-17 (Panic returns, Tua fails again, should have drafted Anthony Richardson, Josh Allen is God, Chop Robinson sucks, Cam Smith is a bust, Grier sucks at drafting! Plenty of fights on the forum, Aquapride goes into "I told you so" mode after Cooper Rush gets the start for Dallas and manages the game well enough to win. We drop behind Buffalo and the Jets at 5-3 and everyone thinks the season is over...We also lose another key starter. Board becomes very uneasy about coach McDaniels and his post game interview. Stephen Ross is caught doing trying to bribe a masseuse. Andrew Van Ginkle has a great game for the Vikings that week!

Mia @ LAR: LAR 30-23 (Tua throws a pick at the end to seal our fate, the board is in pandemonium at this point. Guys are calling for McDaniels to be fired, chants of Mike White are heard echoing throughout the stadium. A fistfight breaks out in a Kroger supermarket in Tennessee between two Dolphin fans. One who hates Tua, the other who supports him 5-4). Tua haters ban together on this forum to flank the supporters from behind after this loss sparking a ten page argument.

Mia v LV: Fins 31-27 (This one is a battle, but we take it. Christian Wilkins injures Raheem Mostert in the process AND sacks Tua. The board loses its mind crying about how we should have kept him! More raging arguments about Tua, but members of this board now start to bring political views into the argument. Tua supporters will be called liberal democrats for supporting him and insulted...But...We're 6-4).

Mia v NE: Fins 21-10 (One of those snooze fest games where it's so boring you forget you're watching football. Tua only throws one TD pass and people on here are pissed because he didn't throw five. More political insults are injected into the ongoing debate about Tua. By this point, McDaniels will begin catching a ton of heat despite us sitting at 7-4. The massage, bathhouse allegations against Ross start to rise from a simmer to a boil. League investigation incoming...Potential privileges being revoked. Ross claims "It was just a massage, ask Tom Brady he was there!" Brady will be unavailable for comment. Bob Kraft comes to the rescue!).

Mia @ GB: Fins 20-17 (a fun game where we win turns ugly after losing another key player (that's three now.). Members of the board will fume about Tua while talking up Jordan Love. After all...That's what this game will be about. It'll be hot in Green Bay that day...A record-setting 80 degrees and it'll be the only reason we are able to beat them. Tua Vrs Love 8-4).

Mia v NYJ: NYJ 31-28 (Aaron Rodgers has and always will beat us. At this point, you'll see members of the board calling for the head of both McDaniels and Tua. Grier will be lambasted and called a Democrat and everyone on here will be fighting with each other. This loss will cause even the most level-headed supporters of this team to call it a season. Tua has an injury scare in this one, but it turns out to be nothing. People on the board calling him fat last season will now be saying he's too skinny. Doomsday preppers will be in full swing as talks about failure, rebuild, and Stephen Ross's bathhouse massage scandal take precedence as we drop to 8-5).

Mia @ Hou: Fins 28-24 (Yet another QB vrs QB game. CJ Stroud can do no wrong! Nobody has us winning this game. Everyone is packing it in, and yet...Here we are...With a win and a 9-5 record. Here's the catch...Tua doesn't throw a TD pass in this one while Stroud throws three! The battle rages on. An old guy on the board proclaims that Bob Griese would have thrown five TD's against this defense, and that Csonka would have ran for 200 yards!).

Mia v SF: Fins 17-16 (Somehow we find a way to get it done against them! 10-5! New life! Rejuvenation! But a fourth key injury befalls us. Still...A win is a win and we have made it to ten! Chop Robinson finally notches a QB sack! Stephen Ross cheers us on from his home as he's not suspended indefinitely. Mcdaniel beats his old team and falls asleep at the podium during his post-game interview).

Mia @ Clev: Fins 33-28 (In a not-so-surprisingly globally warmed 68 degree December game in Cleveland, we find a way to get it done again. We hang 33 on the Browns despite their defense being amazing all season. We hit 11 wins and with a little luck, will make the wild card next week! Tus throws four TD passes! Now...We just need to beat the Jets, OR have the Titans beat the Texans along with the Steelers beating the Bengals. Relying on help from other teams has always been our thing).

Mia @ NYJ: NYJ 42-7 (Yep...That's how it ends for us! People will blame the temperature for being too cold. "IT WAS 40 DEGREES OUTSIDE, THATS FREEZING!!!!" After an amazing three game gauntlet in December where we actually win and quiet the haters...This happens! We go into this game PUMPED only to get smoked. Had we won this, we would have had a home game in the playoffs against the Colts! Unfortunately Tua injures his collarbone and spends the offseason doing collarbone ninja exercises! Luckily we find a way to sneak into the wild card despite the bad loss. Tua misses the wild card game after playing all season long and we lose to the Bills again 47-10. Mike White throws four picks, Jevon Holland, Ramsey, Jordyn Brooks, Chubb, and Seiler all get a nasty virus three days prior to the game and are unable to go. That's how it ends.

That's the season. Check back with me...Sticky this. FINSUP!

The Packers and Dolphins have actually played 3 times in the last "decade". Green Bay won all 3.

The Fins were running away with the last game until Tua got his bells rung but stayed in the game. That hit basically ended our season.

It is amusing because EVERY YEAR fans of a lot of teams always say their fav team will win at least 11 games.

Not everyone here did say 11 or over. But 90% did.
And no I don't always say the Packers will win 11 or more games. Last year I was right with my prediction of 9. I knew the Packers offense would take time to find it's footing with it being J-Love's first season starting. The second half of the season he was the best in the league.
