…Bill Belichick is shut out. He will be 73 after the next season.
He is NOT catching Coach Shula.
Suck it Bill ya cheating bastard.

He needs 14 wins to match Shula and 15 to beat him, overall of course. Belichick does have the most postseason wins. Point is: Belichick will almost certainly need at least two seasons to beat Shula assuming some team wants him someday. It's looking a lot less likely. Great news!

I'm not counting him out yet. He might also be waiting for a certain HC to retire after the Super Bowl or a better opportunity next year.

If BB decides to coach next year he would be 73. There’s never been a 73 yr old NFL HC. (Edit: I guess when Romeo Crenell was interim for the Cards he was 73).

My gut feeling is BB is done. He will most likely be best known for coaching Brady, cheating, having the most losses ever, and having a great defensive mind. The GOAT HC moniker will most likely wear off soon.

I imagine he still wants GM responsibilities and I doubt KC would have any interest in that

Maybe Reid rides off into the sunset if they win this Super Bowl, but I think he stays as long as Mahomes plays. With him at qb and Spags running the D, you always have a chance, especially in the AFC West.

Yep, when you look at what they’ve are doing this year again, then maybe you‘ve got to wait until they (Ried and his staff) call it quits, Mahomes gets injured or they somehow **** up in building a roster around him…

Plus, it sure seems like Reid is having fun (why wouldn’t he be), unlike his time here in Philly. Both teams are really good, but the fans and media here were relentless in their criticism. I’m sure he’s treated much better in KC, lol.

It's annoying, but they are the new Patriots. At least we don't play them twice a year. Mahomes is just that good, he will always give them a shot regardless of who is around. That said, the Pats didn't go to the Super Bowl every year - you build the best team you can and play the games.

    At least KC doesn’t cheat.
As for the Pats, they had a decade in their “dynasty” when they never won a SB. That’s why I kind of think it’s a misnomer to say they had a 20 yr dynasty. I think, and especially with the salary cap, that’s just impossible. They had two shorter dynasties, 2001-2004 and then again in 2014-2018. That 10 year gap had some great Patriots teams, but no Super Bowl wins. And for me, you can’t have a dynasty without Championships.

I really doubt that. Reid is not exactly the picture of health and fitness at nearly 66 years old, and I don't think he's likely to stick around past 70. Mahomes is 28 and could play effectively another decade barring injury. If they win in two weeks, I think there's a really solid shot he calls it quits. Otherwise, I think two or three more seasons tops.

Ben Johnson just took his name out of the running for a HC job. He wants another run at a championship with Detroit. Huge win for the Lions.

Seattle and Washington jobs still open.

Seattle seems like a pretty good gig. But perhaps there will be bigger choices a year from now if he keeps up the good work. Pittsburgh, Dallas, Philly, NYG and even KC could be available, and he'll likely be a top candidate.

So Washington goes from one old school defensive coach to another after courting a young offensive guru. New owner, same old stupidity.
