You can't blame the defense for these last two games -it's all about the lack of offense. The defense has been remarkable given all the injuries.
Mahomes is allowed to lower his head and go helmet to helmet on Elliot. Then stop the clock so he can change the helmet. I've seen it all.
Tua holding the ball long isn't a good thing. It means they are doing well at taking his 1st read away.
Sittin on every run, and we won't put the ball in Tua's hands. 2.77 seconds to throw tonight ofr him, which is longer than ANY game this year they showed in the broadcast.
No one picked Miami tonight. And it’s because everyone outside of a small group of homers saw this team as imposters all year long. Super Bowl teams don’t get beat by 4+ TD’s in multiple games
3rd and 14th and you toss for 1 yard. Let that sink in. We need an entirely new scheme to be contenders. we can’t resign TUA for top money, we need new CB’s and we need to 2 TE’s…
Nothing magic about it. He's physically unfit for the job in the NFL. Can only throw up so many smoke and mirrors before reality kicks your butt.
It's been a fun season guys. We did make the postseason again, so I guess I hang on to that. Maybe I'll see you guys next season if I'm still breathing. Hopefully the injuries don't hit us as hard, but I have a feeling we're in for a tough season next year. Defenses have figured us out. You take away Tua's first option and it's a wrap. It's that simple. I've steadfastly supported Tua because he's a Dolphin and this is my team. I did the same with Tannehill! Hell I did the same with Sage Rosenfels because this is my team. I'm always going to be a fan of this team, but Tua aint it ya'll. Our injuries are on the defensive side of the ball and Fangio has held up on his end forcing the Chiefs into field goals. This is all on the offense and this is all on Tua and McDaniel. The honeymoon is over for now. **** has gotten real and It's time to make the marriage work. We've got next season to do that. I will say this. This is the first year I haven't been heavily invested in this team and I had a much more enjoyable experience. Gotta let it go sometimes. Peace out ya'll.
So, Tua and McDaniel will get 2024 to make this work, but Tua is not the QB Miami can win with. McDaniel might learn some lessons, but it has to show up next year with better play calls and coaching. I think Mike did what he could with Tua, but the limitations are now glaring. This is DESPITE the offense talent (minus the OL of course) around Tua. As long as Tua is starting, I feel good about stepping away from following the team closely until there is real change.
Yeah, I'm with ya explosions.. I was always on the fence on Tua... the last two years with McDaniel though had that line trending way upwards. But his performance down the stretch here has been... Well, just not very good when it's mattered. I won't want to hear Weather BS either. Because it hasn't stopped the QB wearing red. Yeah it's clearly affected some of his throws, so it's real. But one does... one doesn't perform tonight. One has a mediocre WR crew, one doesnt. The fact those two thins are opposite of each other is a major problem IMO.
I’ve turned the game off seen enough and starting to get mad again. This organization hasn’t turned the corner at all. While our record is slightly better due to the schedule this year we’re an average team. Grier has to go he’s not building a dominating team. The coach has been horrible and looking like he’s been figured out, Vic might not be around more than one more year unless something changes. we have some really tough decisions ahead. For me the seasons over and I’ve lost faith in this team and what McDaniel was trying to build it’s not sustainable. Playoff teams are tough mentally and physically we’re not built for that we’re build on speed and timing which you can not count on. hope you all enjoy the rest of the game but I’m done. Team has demorilized me and make me hate sports even more. I will be posting my thoughts on a rebuild yes a rebuild that we needs to happen. We are not a few prices away from anything.
Keep in mind problem #1 is Grier. He botched the biggest trade since Hershel walker. This mess has his stamp all over it
Yeah there have been little trying to claim that Grier had redeemed himself. Anyone who thinks that needs to rethink their position.
