I feel the same. I feel like nobody thinks we have a chance in the cold and that's why we're going to win.

I don’t know, going into cold weather when you’re not used to it is almost a different game. The hits are harder when you’re that cold. I live 3 hours north of KC and it’s going to be absolutely miserable. If our defense was close to healthy, with our running game, I’d feel better but I think KC wins this.

A fake punt, blocked punt/field goal or some kind of wacky play is what it's going to take for Miami to win this game.

That feeling may very well ring true, but I suspect if it does it'll last only the first half. The Dolphins have a pattern over the past four games of playing very well in the first halves of games and then collapsing in the second. If they do manage to get out to a lead at the half, I would expect the defending Super Bowl champs to become highly galvanized at the half, as they've shown the repeated ability to in recent years, in a way that blows the Dolphins away in the second half, especially at home in a playoff game.

The defending Super Bowl champs aren't going to come out of the locker room down on the scoreboard after the half of a first-round playoff game at home and continue to be overcome in the second half by a team with as little mettle as this one has. If you're going to put an end to the defending Super Bowl champs' season on their home field in the first round of the playoffs, you better have some serious ability to bear down and overcome their drive and intensity, and this team hasn't shown it has that ability. This team couldn't even overcome the Tennessee Titans' charge during the final three minutes of a far more meaningless game on its own home field.

So, if you want to follow your intuition, make a first half bet on the Dolphins and a second half bet on the Chiefs.

Saturday is going to surprise a lot of critics. Make sure to stick around after the game. A lot of t#@lls only show up when things aren't going our way.

We're going to have to beat the refs and Taylor Swift in order to do this. I had a dream the other day that we took this game. I was being all curmudgeon like in the dream and didn't watch. Later on I checked the score and to my surprise we won 23-17.

It's possible we get this done, but Tua really needs to show up and put on a show and Fangio needs to be a magician with the defense. It'd be a great feel good story if we pulled it off. Sadly, the NFL favors the Chiefs a long with the ever so irritating Taylor Swift/Kelce narrative.

These ain’t the same old Chiefs. Mahomes and (especially) Kelce have been spending more time making commercials than playing football, and their WRs have been awful. Taylor and Brittany are going to be sad little clowns by games’ end.

    #FINSUP!

has nothing to do with trolls, people are just more upset when the team loses. Same way with world news, when things are bad papers sell, all is good nothing to sell.

Starting to sound like it will be 30 below 0 with wind chills. Not even sure how they can play a game and not get frostbite at this point

There's a certain new member I was referring to who just came here to bash the team and HC. If Miami pulls this off he/she/they will never show up again.

IDK if it matters or not but I would think the way Mahomes and Kelce have been acting recently isn't going to result in the favoritism we expect. Particularly Mahomes has been tearing up the officials with some out of line meltdowns the past month of the season. The league office isn't a fan of any criticism of their refs so who knows what team is going to get the calls tomorrow night. Mahomes may have rocked the boat a little too hard.

but, it is on Peacock and the NFL and or Peacock chose the Chiefs to be the game. It was announced before the Dolphins outcome.

Peacock isn't going to be on the field throwing yellow flags. But the refs who do throw them surely saw Mahomes acting like an entitled cry baby going after their fellow officials.

IF you believe the NFL is for or against a team, who do you think tells the refs who to throw flags for ? Since the refs are paid by the NFL they will do what the NFL says, and the NFL chose Peacock because of the Chiefs. Which means the Chiefs are their favorite AND they would want the game called by the refs for the Chiefs.

We'll see soon enough. You could be right but I don't think the league is loving KC this year. On top of the antics going after officials they've been pretty boring all season. Miami would be a much more exciting team to watch for another week. People are sick of seeing Taylor Swift and the league knows it.

They should. The Chiefs suck. Only the weather, the NFL and TSwift's nipples can stop us.

Chiefs obviously don't suck and that is talk to try and set up Miami to look worse if they lose but its a winnable game if they commit to running. They are better at doing it and better at stopping it and the weather demands it.

Consider the source saying the "Chiefs suck".

I already see it if they lose "If they can't beat a terrible Chiefs team, they're never going to beat anyone".

They obviously aren't the juggernaut they have been in past years but they are still a great team and defending champions. They still have a Hall of Fame coach, quarterback and pass catcher last time I checked.

So much for my weird feeling!
And this team had proved stats mean nothing.
Worse number 1 offence in history of NFL led by a Qb who chokes or is just not physically good enough to rise up to the better teams.Proce this again yesterday.
Noway I pay him big money

Something saving the stats argument a bit is that we ended up #2 in offense after our Buffalo debacle. Dallas ended #1. There’s actually a huge difference historically. So stats would predict Dallas wins a playoff game or two. But the general point is correct that this team vastly underperformed at the end of the season relative to what typically occurs with a top offense.
