I don't want to see another choreographed celebration from this team for the rest of the season. All business from here on out. McDaniel should make the team watch the Barry Sanders documentary so they learn how to act when you score. Hand the ball to the ref and get back to work. There's nothing to celebrate until February.
Barry was one of my favorite non-Dolphins players of all time. Class act all around. The beautiful thing about what he did is he made grown men in the NFL look like they’ve never tackled someone before. And there’s HoF on that list. So what else do you need to do besides hand the ball to the ref.
Watching Tua take over that game was a thing of beauty. Anyone who ever questioned his leadership doesn't understand leadership or football.
I was like- a golf simulator? Really? That's what Tua's so excited about?!? I thought it would be some kind of scooter (I know Tyreek bought that already, but that's where my mind went). Icotoner gloves from Marino though- best gift ever! That thoroughly cracked me up. For the record, when we'd see Marino after his Thursday night radio shows and hound him for autographs, he would actually wear the gloves on colder nights. Kind of silly thinking back about it- why have the QB from Miami selling gloves? Nobody needs gloves in South Florida...why not have Jim Kelley instead? Everyone needed gloves in Buffalo, LOL. That's why Marino's gift killed me on Hard Knocks...nobody is ever going to use them unless they're traveling.
They travel this weekend to Baltimore. Can't imagine being Mike White (lifetime Dolphin fan) and getting a gift from Marino. I think golf simulator would be super cool, and I don't golf
I would guess it had something to do with Parsons beating him bad on the play that got called for roughing
Finally got around to watching the latest episode- I really didn't think I'd watch it at all. The Fins were so hyped going into that game and believed they were going to win. Such a shame Howard and Chubb went down- with both of them maybe we had a shot. I did like how Hard Knocks didn't overplay the loss more than they had to, it felt classy. If you haven't watched it, it's worth a look.
No way am I watching this week. This show is depressing and gross after a loss. As soon as this team started spending practice time working on their "celes", it was all downhill from there. I'm sure it's only a small part of it, with injuries being a bigger part but I think the national exposure and wanting to ham it up with the horse**** choreographed celebrations didn't help during this latest late season collapse.
The latest Hard Knocks wasn't terrible and highlighted how the defense was solid against Buffalo until starters went down. Baker played with a dislocated wrist and thumb, and the episode mainly focused on how we piled up so many injuries these past few weeks.
I really liked the last episode! Gave me a little hope for Saturday. Oh, and of course Allen told Tua he wants to see us in a few weeks, he’s been our daddy for to long now.
Hmm, was he? I guess that's possible, but Allen only attends if Buffalo is out of the playoffs. I think he meant a rematch.
This was the Swifty episode. I'm rooting for Buffalo to knock out KC just so Mr. Pfizer's skank goes away. I can't take it anymore. I hope she gives Kelce an std.
I may be sick of seeing TS, but there’s no way I’m rooting for Buffalo just to end her in game appearances. The sooner the Bills are out the better. KC can lose to Baltimore next week. The std wish can still happen, though.
As sick as this is making me feel, I want Buffalo to beat the Chiefs. I can't stand another minute of Patrick Mahomes and his Kermit The Frog voice OR Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift. It has to end!
I don't think I've hated a team more in my life than this Chiefs team. Mahomes being a cry baby, Kelce selling his soul to Pfizer, Jackson Mahomes tick tocking, and the endless State Farm commercials was enough to make me hate them. Taylor Swift has brought them to a whole other level. I'd much rather watch Buffalo in the Super Bowl than 50 shots of this ghoul doing orchestrated celebrations with Britney Mahomes in the box seats.
I'm really torn but I think I'm rooting for Buffalo here for two reasons: 1) KC is not that great this year BUT Ma-hommie is incredible and somehow Taylor Swift gets all the credit. Haters gonna hate, hate, hate, hate, hate...and I'm a hater. Not of Mahommes or of Swift particularly, but the whole media frenzy catered around making non-football fans watch football just to see Taylor and what she does in her luxury skybox. To me, that's an insult to the integrity of the game, almost like a circus freak show to draw in the crowds. The NFL is more than that to me and the Swifties shall not cheapen it. 2) If Buffalo goes all the way, then losing to them down the stretch doesn't sting nearly as bad. It means we lost to a really good team that peaked at the right moment, and that frames the season in a much better light for me. So I'm okay with Buffalo winning this week. For those keeping track, my brother still insists the league is WWE and they've already announced the Super Bowl with the red and purple colors in this year's logo. Baltimore must fall...my brother is worse than a Swiftie and that's a 3rd reason I want KC to lose! Whoever wins out of KC/Buffalo needs to beat Baltimore...and I don't want it to be KC back in the Super Bowl! Or we can hope for the Lions in the NFC I guess...Motor City Dan! I guess I could also root against the red teams in the NFC (49ers/Tampa) but I like both of them. Hoping Mayfield wins it all just to insult Cleveland a little more!
You make a lot of excellent points here. Me personally I'm hoping for Detroit to go all the way. That fan base deserves it for sticking with that franchise and plus I'd be really happy for Dan Campbell. He was a little green at the time but I thought back then he should have been given the HC job for the job he did here as the interim coach.
Cain and Abel - jealousy Romulus and Remus - can’t agree on where to put Rome Key and his brother - Key says his brother is “worse than a Swiftie” Don’t give your brother the carving knife at Thanksgiving, Key.
PS. I can really only root for the Detroit/Tampa winner. Hate Buffalo, tired of KC, can’t find any good will towards Baltimore after 56-19, and can’t root for Shanahan after he was partly responsible for choking the SB to the Pats.
Well the Lions are a step closer to making us happy, and the Bills are going back to their igloos and cry in their beers.
Well, no purple in this year’s Super Bowl, so I guess that theory is put to rest. Really was excited for Detroit to make it, especially after that first half.
