HAHAHA Tua.. What a ****ty throw, what a ****ty game he put out there. Pure garage from the QB tonight in a game where you expect a supposed franchise QB to shine.
CRAP!!! McD and Tua simply not mentally tough enough in clutch situations. That and stupid ST. However.. shout out to the defense. 3 turnovers and a great 4th down stop. They WERE clutch. At this point in the season it's mostly a mental game and McD and Tua just don't have it yet. At least we have one more chance.
we don’t I’d be willing to bet some of these homers a three week suspension from the forum that we lose next week. KC will kick out *** we lose they get banned and if we win I get banned I have zero faith in this team.
Forced two throws on that drive. First was almost picked, got Hill hurt. Second was picked. That's just piss poor QB play when it matters. You just can't win that way, you can't be a contender when your QB can't get the job done. Epic collapse. As usual. As it's like a home game in our stadium. I'm so disgusted by everything this team put out there this week, and the last half of the season. Unless Tua does something special, really special next week and for a few weeks after that. You CANT pay him. You just cant.
SMH. We'll be lucky to field a team next week. When the books are written about this season, we'll all realize we never had a chance. BTW (I know this must have been expressed earlier, but I don't care): F*** every single fan who sold his ticket to a Pills fan. You don't even have the right to b*tch about the result.
Not taking the bet but I agree the team is letting its fans down big time. I'll still watch and root against KC.
This team is September contenders and December pretenders like every season in the last 22 years. 3 rd longest playoff win drought in pro sports and will probably be second after next weekend if the Lions win.
Speaking of turds, don't blame me for knowing this is who Tua is. He's a system QB in an amazing system with a ridiculous cast. Those blaming McDaniel are delusional. He made Tua the Turd look good. He should win a Nobel prize.
You can't pay Tua. You just can't. His performance the second half of the season when we started playing good teams wasn't good. If I'm not mistaken we've beaten 1 team above 500 all year and that was on the back of 5 field goals. That's awful. Stick the stats and numbers from early in the year in the trash, they're meaningless if you can't beat anyone good. Frauds, that's what we are. If Tua can go out and do something special against KC and for a couple more weeks after then consider paying him. As it is now... nope. You can't do it, the window is closing already as it it and without a 110% healthy Hill he's nothing special. Good, but not good enough to take you where you need to go. Signing him to big money puts you in cap hell, and we have alot of issues to fix. You just can't do it.
I'm on the West Coast so I don't get to see many Fins games but to say I'm angry is an understatement. Tua was horrible....D- at best. He's under/over throwing his receivers at least once per series and he's going to get them killed. McDaniel had some piss-poor play calling at best. Fangio needs to be fired - tonight. Special teams is indeed "special"....our own guy took out the only guy who could have stopped him and managed to get one of our few edge rushers hurt. Practice squad scrubs do that. Prediction: The Chiefs are going to run up at least 40 points on us. It's over for us.
What’s the common denominator for the 2nd half of the season being lackluster offensively? HARD KNOCKS!!! I said it was going to be a distraction and what happened once Hard Knocks came into the picture? The offense wasn’t as electrifying as it was the first half of the season. Defensively, we have been decimated with injuries. Phillips, Chubb, Howard, VanGinkel. You can only do so much when you have so little.
Yeah, I'll check some updates from the KC game next week, but I'm not wasting my time watching the game. Tua is what he is, and that won't win us the AFCEast, let alone a Super Bowl. Time to step back and free up more time for other hobbies until there is once again substantial change to the Miami team and organization.
Defense played great today. Don't blame them. 14 points allowed with 3 turnovers and a clutch stop on 4th down to give the putrid offense a chance to win. Defense was clutch.
Tua was the 2nd best QB on the field tonight and it wasn't even close. Allen is a franchise QB, Tua is not.
Agreed. The local fanbase by and large is as soft as this team. Pitiful that enough season ticket holders allowed that to happen. Obviously this isn’t aimed at anyone here (unless you sold your tickets to a Bills fan, then **** you too.)
The defense played more than good enough to win this game. It was a bit of special teams, and a LOT of bad offense in the second half. This loss falls on Tua and the offense not getting anything in the ENTIRE second half.
The Chiefs aren't a good team. They are totally beatable. But it's going to be hard to beat the NFL, Swifties, and the Chiefs in KC.
KC hasn't played well.. but damn the biggest issue is going to be the weather. They're forecasting SINGLE DIGIT temps in KC next week. VERY hard for a Florida team to beat that.
No, it's not hard knocks. It's failing to adjust your offense as defenses catch up and adjust to you. It's failing to actually play well against GOOD teams, not just the cupcakes we played early on. It's having a QB that was relatively lackluster against good opponents. We beat what... ONE team with a record above 500 all year and we did it with FIVE field goals. That's terrible. McDaniel failed to adjust last year after the halfway point when teams caught up after the SF game. Same thing happened this year but the key difference was this year we had Tua all year long and last year we didnt. You'd think that would help, but it hasnt. So he's part of the problem too. This offense is built around Tyreek Hill. When you see this offense with out Hill Tua is... well he's Ryan Tannehill. Good but not great. Will make some nice plays, and make some that make you want to destroy your TV. You can't sign a guy like that to a big money deal. You just cant. Hill won't be here forever, so then what do you have? Because this offense with Tua and without Hill is non-existent really. To me this is all about lacklustre QB play, poor playcalling, and an offense that simply can't sustain its success once defenses catch up. I'm sure hard knocks was a distraction to some degree, but we had these issues long before hard knocks happened. It's a joke though that the NFL forces it upon teams.
Only the Dolphins can give up a touchdown off a pop up off a helmet and have a guy tear an ACL on a punt return and take out his own guy leading to a touchdown. Props to the defense for that big 4th down stop. They played their *** off even with Melvin Ingram trying to cover tight ends down the field and down to the quadruple backup linebacker. Tua and McDaniel were as poor as could be. Abandoning the run again. Tua's confidence is completely shot. McDaniel looks like a shell of himself on the sidelines, often shaking and looking confused. Good thing I don't have the Peacock channel, I think I'm gonna pass on the game. Can't take it anymore.
McDaniel and Tua need to go this year. Need to get a tough coach and stop with these offensive gurus. It just doesn't work out for us.
This just feels like the movie Groundhog Day combined with the titanic. You know it’s gonna sink, but you get out of bed and relive it season after season. Just so disgusting and so tired of being disappointed year after year.
Losing the game sucks, but all things considered I’m glad they did. Chiefs are an easier team to beat than Buffalo and as much as I feel bad for the season ticket holders that show up and support the team, that local fanbase doesn’t deserve a home playoff game to let that many Bills fans buy those tickets.
