Did I hear the announcer say that only the Jests started more OL this season? That's crazy. It looks like coordinators typically win Assistant Coach of the Year, but I think Butch deserves strong consideration.

 

His leadership has been fantastic since he was signed. Really sets a great example.

Winning this game despite missing FOUR starting OL is just wild. But I'm certainly crossing my fingers that we get three of them back.

 

Of the teams in the AFC with a .500 or better record, we've missed the most OL starts by a wide margin. The Bills, Chiefs, Broncos and Jaguars have started the same OL in almost every game. Most of the rest have had at least three for almost every game.

 

The OL stepped up so huge on that last drive. We started the second half with Dallas stuffing us on rushes and finished it by running down their throats when we they knew we were going to rush the ball. I can't express how significant is to be able to impose your will on the opponent when the game is on the line.
