I feel like we could take a step up to a 2021-Chiefs-level offense if Tua could run the ball.

he has not learned the skill of making a conscius threat with his legs..hit the back foot pick a lane, slide, flip the ball and look back at the defense on your way back to the huddle.

Bottom line Tua needs to grow from these situations, not gonna just sit back and chalk it up to mistakes happen, not at this rate

These ints are coming when his timing on the route is off, there’s a hitch and a throw and it’s not working

I knew that with Tua's utter exceptional performance last season that any reasonable decline from last year was going to be viewed negatively against Tua.

And just for context, can we stop worrying so much about the interceptions?

Marino threw 6 interceptions in 1983
    17 interceptions in 1984
    21 in 1985
    23 in 1986

That's 67 interceptions in his first 4 years.

Tua has thrown 5 interceptions in 2020
    10 in 2021
    8 in 2022
    10 so far in 2023

That's 33 interceptions in his first 4 years.

He also has 10fumbkes, I think an adjustment needs to be made

I don’t think it should be chalked up at just being aggressive and you live and die with it..not on this trajectory when it comes to turnovers.

Tua runs like a wounded donkey, it's never going to be a significant part of his game.

I seem to recall he ran better back in college. I don't know if it was the hip injury that put an end to it or if it's just that the defenses are faster in the NFL.

I think he needs to decide to run and do it. He hesitates and that’s what does him in. In watching others like Allen, he makes the decision and goes.

Yeah. He has good mobility for rollouts and great for pocket movement, but he doesn't need to be trying to get down the field. I remember him talking about a scramble he had where he got a good block and saying something to the effect that almost anyone else on the team would have scored with that block and he just got a few extra yards.

Such a biased statistic. Have to first see what December + January stats look like after this year. Basically you have 10 December + January games from 2020 and 2021 plus 4 from 2022 to get his "December + January" stats. Compare that to 9 out of 20 games pre-December from 2022. Yes, his performance (overall) in December 2022 was not good, but you need to balance the stats out with games from seasons where Tua is (overall) performing like an elite QB to really see if he has a problem in December and January.

AI (at least in its current stage) generally can't do calculations. So if you ask it who the 4th best QB was in 2021 by passer rating it will give you a grammatically correct but usually inaccurate answer. On rare occasion it accidentally gets it right. So this looks like a human did some work.

I wasn't seriously saying that this was AI generated.

But they did just get busted the other day for doing exactly that.

If waddle doesn’t drop a beautiful off script play by Tua that rating is about 150

That play shows three of Tua's strengths, pocket awareness, quick feet, and ridiculously quick release. Most QBs take a sack there.

The more Tuas shows his elite QB skillset not the physical skillset, the more the uneducated pundits will start to see the beauty of his art form playing the position.

That’s what Tua is doing, a very unique art form at the position.

Which includes being the fastest Qb in the game.

During the game they showed the replay from a field level camera in the end zone and you could see Dolphins players on the sideline reacting to that little move.

Florio and Simms had a segment where they declared both Tyreek TDs to be bad passes and Tyreek is just lying to prop up Tua up with the implication that Tua is mentally weak.

    Disgraceful people.

It's cherry picking at it's finest.

And I am extremely surprised by the poster who posted it. lol

Last 2 Decembers combined, Tua has a 108 passer rating. lol

I'm getting 90.9 combined rating for last 2 Decembers. But that's going to increase substantially over the rest of this season.

And yes, StaleTacos is still trying his best to paint Tua in a negative light. Won't matter. It's not just him though. Notice all the no-shows. It's like there are so many posters that can't stomach Tua doing this well, or in some cases the Dolphins doing this well lol.

Man, he's doing it. This would have been considered a great season for Tua just a couple of years ago. And he has five games to build on these totals.

When it comes to Tua, people see what they're going to see. It'll probably be this way his whole career.

And that's why its so hard to know if its the QB's fault on some of these plays. Even Hill coming in on Twitter, which he doesn't have to do won't change peoples minds.

The thing that bothers me is that even if Tua threw it to the wrong location, it was still a really good throw. Tyreek had plenty of time to readjust to catch the ball in stride.

A bad throw is a pass Tyreek has no chance to catch. This one he barely even had to slow down.

Here's Tua throwing a deep out from the opposite hash. Hill couldn't get the second foot down.

Again, another throw he would never be able to make.

It didn't, one of the first replies was...

Some people just want to believe what they want to believe no matter the evidence.

Tua even said in the post game press conference that the ball on that play was designed to be thrown onto the left side of the numbers and it's exactly where he put it from 50 yards away.

yeah, I didn't say the same people liked both QB's. There was an army of Tannehill supporters on here for sure, which you point out by saying you were not popular for not supporting him.
