Colin Cowherd on the Dolphins:"...I don’t necessarily buy it..."

He's playing for an a team that the NFL wants in the superbowl with the "best"(never called for holding) line in football. He played okay but when the game is handed to them on a silver platter you can't chalk it up to his play.

 

Hurts ability to get a yard or two whenever he wants is pretty game changing.

 

I'd rather take out ability to get 3rd and 13 with ease then the tush push which is getting banned. Hurts threw a pick six and almost another one.

 

I don't get why it would be banned. If other teams could do it, they should, but they can't.

 

Sooner or later Hurts is going to get injured in these piles. That's when it'll get banned... For the sake of player safety.

 

That should be up to Hurts/Philly then whether to risk it. Banning it for the protection of players is just sour grapes.

 

I saw him moving in the pocket, running when appropriate, stopping and throwing. He literally did everything DJ expects a QB to do.

While he's ****ting on Hurts and saying he's infected. Lol

 

You're better than this brother. Maybe you didn't notice, but I went to bat for you the other week and picked a fight with several of my other friends here. Don't prove them right by being petty, LOL.

 

You're so anti Tua you can't see straight. Hurts has taken 17 sacks this season. If he's so good at running when appropriate he'd have less than Tua. He's also behind the best offensive line in football who hasn't played with any backups this year. He also leads the league in turnovers. If this was Tua you'd be bringing it up against him.

 

I wasn't initially "being petty." I thought my question was perfectly fine given the conversation. Then people wanted to argue with me.

WTF are you taking about? Nothing that I wrote had anything to do with Tua, nor was I throwing shade at Tua. I wasn't comparing Tua to Hurts. You guys make up this **** that you THINK I'm saying, and you make up **** that you think I am (anti Tua, which I'm not), and then you twist every ****ing thing I write into some **** that it ****ing isn't.

You are praising a QB who is behind Tua in all stats but rushing. That's were I was going with it. He has an elite Oline and 2 stud recievers, a better TE and a great RB. They also have a great D and he's underperforming compared to Tua.

 

I know brother, I know. I'm sorry for that and I have nothing to do with it. That stuff definitely gets old quickly and it would be good for everyone if it ended.

 

I was simply saying I thought he played well. That can't be said now? Again, making more out of my post, to make it line up with your view of me. I don't know nor care about the rest of his season. I watch the Dolphins. That's basically it. I don't watch SportsCenter, etc etc.

 

Cowherd's take on the game. We all know he's a moron but worth a watch. Smug prick gloating he's right about Miami. The thing I can't stand is he obviously doesn't do any of his homework before spewing his opinions. He claims Miami isn't built for cold weather games in November and December and that's why they'll fade out down the stretch. But last time I checked Miami is home 4 out their last 5 games to close out the year. The idiot doesn't even bother to see where Miami is playing in December.

 

The media built them up, now they can't wait to take them down.

They act like Tua and McDaniel were going on late night talk shows and TV shows and pumping up everyone, saying how Tua is the best quarterback ever, saying McDaniel is inventing football and has all this swag. When in fact, it was the media that did all of this.

 

It seems like some of these guys have a personal vendetta against this Dolphins offense. I don't know why it's just mind boggling.

 

The problem with the rush push, brotherly shove, whatever you want to call it is it’s player assistance to gain advantage.

It’s no different than defensive players assisting others in penetrating the LOS to block extra points/field goals…which are banned.

If you’re going to ban one, then ban the other. If you’re going to allow one, then allow the other.
