Week 7 - Dolphins at Eagles

Well, now if we get killed by the Eagles tonight, it won't be disastrous.

 

We can really separate ourselves from the pack with a win in Philly tonight. Last time we won the division was 2008. Way too long.

 

The mentality in Miami's locker room should be to bury the Bills by winning tonight. Keep our foot on the gas.

 

35 - 17 Miami. We be going up 2 games on the Belles.

 

Another division loss for them too, so a 3-3 division record is in play for the Bills.

Way too many BS flags in several games today. There must have been a memo sent out this morning.

I just want the dolphins to be themselves… the eagles crowd will be what it always is.. dont get conservative, dont get cute.. chase big chunk yards and move the chains

 

Part of me is very, very excited for this game...part of me doesn't want to watch. I do believe that we can hang with anyone and I do believe that we have the best QB in the league, but I'm genuinely nervous about this one.

 

I think being nervous is a good thing? Good nerves right?

 

Connor Williams and Xavien Howard are both out.

Honestly I think this is a game where waddle steps up and is the main target. It's going to be a tough game we just have to stay in the game by halftime. The fans will turn on them and they will make mistakes.

Dolphins need to capitalize on the division losses. We always end up wasting these moments. Hope tonight we change that narrative.

want this win so bad. Beat a top tier team on the road. Hate excuses but man I wish we were a little healthier

 

Im just glad that Jalen is looking to be cleared soon.. hopefully mid november that way he is in game shape by postseason

A Shame we aren’t healthy but how many times have we said this? Grier has an injury history ridden roster top to bottom. Here we are again when it matters most.

 

This is definitely not a "matters most" type of game and McDaniel is correctly being conservative with the banged up players.

 

Is this not the most important opponent and game of the year? The Dolphins organization needs one of these wins to build on going forward. A blowout loss tonight would be devastating to this team.

 

I’m in your camp but the Bal, KC and Buf games will be more important from a tie breaker standpoint

 

It would be huge to establish them as a top team and silence doubters but its definitely not as important as the divisional games particularly the Bills or the games like the Chiefs. No tiebreaker implications so its really better to have Connor and X the next two weeks.

Lets wait for at least the first half to play out lol it sucks we are missing key players.. especially connor.. meanwhile, jalen carter who is in the running for ROTY is back.. but i think we still have a chance here..

 

Agreed. I do wonder how McDaniel will adjust to avoid another game like they had versus Buffalo. I'd hope lessons were learned and better game plans will be in place tonight. Miami will not reach 'final form' until we get some players back from injury, so coming out of the bye should tell us how good this team can really be.

 

X out... it's time to look at how we can get out of that contract. He's still capable, but he's a shell of his former self and lately he's just always hurt with something.

I don't feel good about our chances in this one with Eli Apple on AJ Brown. Apple is trash, he'll get roasted all night. Our defense doesn't give me the confidence to win this game. Our offense on the other hand... I think they'll be fine. Would love to pick up a W here with the Jills losing today.

 

This is huge, Dolphins are just too banged up and key positions for this game.

Need Eich to have the game of his life.
