Good game between both teams. We were sloppy with some miscues but it played out like I expected it. I thought the Jets played well. Hopefully people will finally start realizing that Thomas Jones is actually a good player. Still don't understand why people are still questioning him. Anyway, Darelle Revis is a very good player. Love watching him play. Dwight Lowry impresses me a lot. I think the Jets will have a very good secondary in two years if they can find a Safety opposite of Kerry Rhodes. Gholston doesn't impress me but I'll leave it at that. Pace had some nice plays in the game, he's a solid pickup for the Jets. The offensive line pickups look good aside from Woody. I questioned the signing of Woody because he has about 4 or 5 starts as a Right Tackle in this league. He doesn't move his feet well which is why he had trouble against the quick Kendall Langford. Woody may be a problem for you guys this year if he doesn't get it together. Favre looked good out there today and that doesn't surprise me. I'm not sure how much of the offense he really knows because he looked like he knew what he was doing out there. Cotchery worried me coming into the game with his downfield threat and he did just that against us on a play action fake. Overall, the Jets played well and the Dolphins fought til the end which I like. The Jets will be a nine/ten win team this year.

Week 3 update. I think reality is setting in for the Jets Nation. Tomorrow night, against a surly 0-2 Chargers, I think reality gets hammered home.

while i have realistic expectations for our Dolphins, despite that wonderful game against the Pats...I tried to warn a few overzealous Jet fans to curb their enthusiasm...and describe the pain the disappointment of shattered expectations bring. the Jets are just not a very good team...save for special teams. they're not going to compete on a weekly basis, and contend for the post-season. there's just too many good teams out there. the jets, like us, cant look at the schedule and assume any games are a W. but whats worse, they are still heading into the abyss. at least we have our ship headed in the right direction. they've not yet begun to level and reconstruct that team, the way they need to.

eh, its aight. if we lose, we lose. i want to just go out and be physical and compete. let nature take its course. if we cant keep up with them, so be it. but i know the chargers aren't above losing on a given sunday, and we smacked them up before, when they needed it.
