Pretty special cast right now: "According to Next Gen Stats, Dolphins players are now responsible for the five fastest individual speeds recorded on a given play this season, with three by Tyreek Hill and one apiece from Achane and Raheem Mostert."

...now a true heat check in Buffalo. Better to go up there now early in the year.

I know it is only week 3, but I have never in my life seen Miami's offense ranked #1 is passing yards and #1 in rushing yards.

I did a quick search this morning of the Power Rankings and it was two different groups. About half the talking heads had us ranked at #1 or #2 (behind San Fran when we were #2), which I can respect and agree with. The other half had us around #5 with the Bills ranked #4. Those folks also had KC and Dallas ahead of us...they thought all three 2-1 teams were superior to Miami.

I'll say what I always say- the power rankings mean nothing. But is sure is nice to be ranked #1 and hearing folks say there's no way we don't compete in the Super Bowl this season. Pat McAfee, Rich Eisen...they're all buying in bigtime and it makes this a more fun ride.

Looking at our schedule, the Bills are a serious test up north....very glad we have them early though with mild weather. The Giants and Panthers should be solid wins, so Week 7 could have us and Philly battling it out as the remaining undefeated teams. If we keep the win streak alive there, KC is two weeks later and then we cruise to the final three games of the season- Dallas, Baltimore, and Buffalo.

I'm not expecting 17-0 by any means, but I think we have a real shot at playing Philly as 6-0 and KC at 8-0. If we win them both, 14-0 is a real possibility going into the last three games.

It really depends on injuries and if defensive co-ordinators can combat McDaniel's schemes at some point. If we go up to Buffalo on Sunday and drop 35 or more on them it will be time to start thinking about #1 seed in the AFC. Looking at the Chiefs schedule, I think you will need to be 14-3 to get the #1 seed which is a really tough ask with our schedule.

I was listening to Dan Orlovsky on the Buffalo Bills YouTube channel (thanks YouTube algorithm) and he basically told the hosts that the Miami offence will be impossible to stop. He said that Buffalo are going to need some superman plays from Allen and score at least 30+ to win the game. Was a good watch actually.

If Dan Hanzus was still doing it we wouldn't be number one.

I really don't care about talking heads saying how good or bad any team is,in the end the record is all that matters.

And yet, most “experts “ are picking us to lose this week.

That’s not entirely unpredictable, as the Jills have been the dominant force in the AFC East for some time now, whereas the Dolphins are only just emerging from a long period in the doldrums.
