We had our foot on their throats in their house last season. It took snowballs, referees, and Josh Allen absolutely stepping up when they needed it the most for us to lose in a game that was decided late. Even in the loss, we erased the Tua/Dolphins can't play well in cold weather narrative. This week, it's projected to be 76° and sunny in Buffalo.

I think this game will come down to how well the defense plays and whether we pick a bad game to make uncharacteristic mistakes.

Last year, we won our first three games, then lost the next three. I'd rather not see a repeat of that.

Something happened in the 4th game that led to that result....

And with our starting center out and facing the Bills, that something could just as easily happen in THIS fourth game...unless we truly are a different team. So yeah, winning this game is damned important.

As long as the defence continues to limit other teams to field goals and comes up with a turnover per game the Dolphins will win. This offence is probably going to continue to score on over 50% of their possessions. Even limiting the game to 8 possession each means you need to be very efficient on offence to beat them.

I have every confidence in the offence doing their part this week, it's up to the defence and Fangio to show they can limit Allen. The defence has been getting better each week, if they hold Buffalo to 24 or under we win this game easily imho.

Every game is important. My point is that there us still 76% of the season left after this week either way. The beauty of the NFL, as opposed to college football, is that one early season loss can easily be overcome. And absolutely so when we also host them later on.

It matters, and a win would be huge, but were in a position where we can absorb a loss and still be just fine.

It's also more important to finish strong than to start strong. The last three games against Dallas, Ravens and Buffalo are probably more telling of whether this team is a serious contender than what we do next Sunday. Either way, we really need that 1st round bye, so this Buffalo game is huge from that point of view.

I hate, so much, that they took away the bye that the #2 seed used to get. That was such a massive advantage, and now being the 2 seed isn't much different than being the 4. Either way, winning the division is vital to get the home game in the WC round, if nothing else. We could have the most productive offense in league history, but if we have to go to Buffalo, KC or Baltimore in January, it might not matter much.

I would suggest we beat the Vikings or Jets should Teddy or Skylar have played the full game.

In both those games the first team starter leading into game was injured in the first half. It's hilariously bad luck. And then in the New England game after that Christmas Day disaster, Teddy gets injured again!!!

I'm glad Mike White got some reps and looked really good.
