Not sure how that would change Tuas durability issues but I agree with Jefferson over the reach for Jackson.
And the Noah pick came out.of.left field as he is definitely the worst pick Grier has ever made.

The Jackson and Noah picks are so frustrating because they can't play at all. Maybe Jackson would have improved if he didn't get hurt who knows but Noah can't even get on the field with a team who has a massively depleted secondary. Looking at that draft makes you appreciate the Robert Hunt pick because at least he is a solid contributor.

it does seem like there could be a better helmet to use, or a neck brace that would keep the head from slamming back.

I would say he wanted Herbert and then when he didn't get him he wanted to get someone else beside Tua.

This makes me sad. You are correct Jefferson, that dude put up big numbers against everyone in college. That pick seemed like a slam dunk pick to me.

The logo is ok. I absolutely hate the colors now. They're humiliating and far too light and pastel.

But my comment was more broad. I don't hate everyone this moment. I like McDaniel and think he has a future. Just saying a person could dislike everything current and still be a diehard fan long term.

Just wait till someone suggests the NFL should start using bear suits to protect everyone from injury. Oh wait.. did I just suggest that lol?

    Tua would be All-Pro lol:

The crazy thing is concussions weren't even an issue for Tua before this year in terms of his inability to stay on the field. Even if he can stay away from a career ending concussion, he still needs to prove he can stay healthy a full season just from an orthopedic side of things.

Would bet the house Ross is all-in on Brady. He's not gambling away another season with Tua, who I thought this year was his "make it or break it" year. Brady gives him another 2-3 seasons to be a stop gap, and draft a QB with tools and upside. It all makes too much sense for it not to happen.

Where does the money come from? Even assuming that everyone is on board, how do you pay both Brady and Tua and make even half of the other massive improvements that need to be made to have a more complete, functional team next season? It's going to be very difficult do get all that much better without another QB.

I don't think Tua would be in the plans. He's traded somewhere. I don't know what the cap hit would be for him.

For Brady, you can give a big bonus and spread it over 3-4 years so the cap hit is lower. Also, caps will be increasing...

The problem was not flores, and the problem is not mcdaniel now. I think they are both good coaches. The problem with this franachise are the two guys at the top who are just a couple of arrogant smoochers that know jack **** about football, Ross and Grier. As long as those two clowns are in charge this organization will continue to be a **** show.

As flores said himself before he left, the one constant during all the years of disfunction has been those two.

I could picture 48 year old Tom Brady being able to play elsewhere but we all know he will look his age if he joined the Dolphins

You could look at Brady as either a win/win or lose/lose scenario depending on your perspective.

Either he comes here and performs well and makes a run in the playoffs and we're happy to see Miami finally get over that hump; or, Miami's luck with QBs causes his wheels to finally fall off and we usher in the demise of Brady.

It's just as easy to look at this as a lose/lose scenario though, depending on your personal feelings towards Brady.

Not arguing that Ross and Grier are our biggest problems. Ross is actually not that bad he‘s just absolutely clueless when it comes to Football.

Probably. That would be very Dolphin. But Brady could still throw it deep, complain, and get a flag called. I'd love to see that.

I say no to Brady. If we move on from Tua ,so be it, but I would pass on Brady. I'd much rather take a shot with Rodgers at this point.

I love Rodgers but I'd rather take Brady if I had my pick. Rodgers just brings so much baggage. I also could see Brady continuing longer than Rodgers even though he's older.

Brady will be 47 by the time next season rolls around. He can assume he`ll play til he`s 50 but father time has it`s way of catching up with everyone regardless of desire and how much one takes care of themself.

My wife is not a superstitious person but she said to me after last week's game she truly believes the Dolphins woes began the moment they changed from the original concept logo, 1966-1996.

I wish we would go back to that logo and those uniform colors. I might be wrong but I think we tend to win MORE when we wear the retros than we do the current.

The 1994-96 uniforms are absolutely my favorite in team history, followed by the 1989-93 ones which were improved upon a bit for those three years. Not that the 70s and 80s uniforms were poor by any means, the colors were still beautiful, but I strongly prefer the solid aqua socks with white pants, and I like aqua pants as a regular option with the white jersey.

If you want to go a step further with superstition, the Dolphins frequently wore the all aqua socks in 1972 when they went undefeated, and then started to phase them out in 1973, before ditching them all together from 1974-1988. Wearing the solid, dark aqua socks and not the striped ones that we feature with the throwbacks would actually be honoring the best teams in franchise history, instead of the 1966 expansion club.

And then if you want to go really deep into the well, the 1971 team, which made it to the Super Bowl, wore aqua uniforms 12 times that season, including 10 in the regular season, 6 of which were 1pm home games, and went 5-1 in those afternoon games, most of them blowouts. The whole idea about wearing white at home has been overblown for 50 freaking years. I say go back to wearing dark aqua every week and break the curse!

The Noah pick was terrible. I was totally on board with Jackson because we were so desperate to shore up the O Line..."BUILD THE TRENCHES" that's was everyone was screaming. We still had to add Connor Williams and Armstead. It's been a disaster!
Back to Noah! That was the worst first round pick we've selected since Yatil Green? John Avery? I mean, there have been some bad ones, but that was AWFUL. Can't believe he's still on this team. IDK, I'm complaining now. I guess it's because we're not where I was hoping we would be when we tore it all down back in 2019.

The irony is everyone assumed we were moving up to take Lane Johnson who not only has had a great career, also plays at a huge position of need that’s been an incredible weakness for us over the last 9 seasons.

A lot depends on whether he leaves via trade or as a free agent. If it’s the latter, he might not be able to stay in the top 10 highest paid based on this season’s results.
