Don’t fret guys. My father was a huge Jaguars fan. He was afraid he wouldn’t live to see the Jaguars become a contender again. He passed away this past January. He didn’t love to see it, but right now the Jaguars are probably the Cinderella sleeper team that other teams better not overlook.

I don’t think it’s going to be that long before we’re back to being a relevant contender again.

I don't know dude.Only 2 teams left that haven't won a playoff game in 20+years and we are one of them.
I actually thought even after losing's to 49ers we were a legit SB contender. Now a good chance we don't even make playoffs. And if we do we will get blown out by 20

Doesn't help at all as I said playoff wins not playoff droughts. Those meaningless playoff blowouts mean nothing to me.And everyone single one was a blowout

Gotta get to the playoffs before you can win a playoff game. It won’t be long before we’re back in them.

The worst part is this isn’t getting better. No 1st round picks this year. A lot of big contracts and need to resign Wilkins at some point. You have a GM who sucks at drafting trying to plug the leaks at positions he’s proven he can’t properly evaluate.

Let's just keep signing injury prone players and.make the highest paid at the position and see how it goes.
Well now we know how that went.
When we needed them.Howard,Armstead,Chubb all out

    Meh I'm done.

8-3 to likely 8-9 and out of the playoffs.

No thanks, I don't see the point. See you next year maybe.

I forgot we were 8-3...that feels like forever ago. Five straight meltdowns almost doesn't feel possible, yet here we are.

The hilarious part is the Jets look every bit as bad as the Fins today.

One of these teams has to win next week. Pretty much a coin toss of mediocrity… but someone will win.

Well, if we win and the Pats lose to the Bills...we're in. Not sure what good it would do, but it's pretty darn entertaining anyway.

It’s entirety possible. The Bills still want the number 1 seed and have something to play for. And despite the loss against Green Bay on Christmas Day, the Dolphins have still played well at home.

And after all, we are talking about the Jets.

I agree, the odds should be with us for both games. It it happens, it's almost the most comical playoff berth ever...unless a healthy Tua starts for the playoffs. Then it's on like Donkey Kong!

  19. Everyone with an above room temperature IQ knew it would end like this. Only the most midwit Dolphin fans thought that Ross, Tua, Grier, McD, etc could get this done. You seriously had to be brain dead to think Tua was the choice over herbert - mush brain will be done soon though, at least we can be happy for that. McD was a cutsie hire by a fraudulent owner. Grier keeps his job because he is a minority. The Chubb trade was ******ed. Draft capital all gone and squandered. The Fins had epic leverage and they managed to flush it down the toilet because the folks running this circus wagon are not good at this. Until mush brain, ross, grier, and mickeyswag are gone, this is all moot. Smart folks warned you, embrace your genetics if you did not see it. Next year will be the same, mush brain will miss 4-6 games, "cheetuuuhhh" will start to throw his bottle out the cradle, howard will get even worse, mcd will continue to display socially awkward behavior and slide closer to Gase level mental break-down, Grier will continue to steal money, and another year will pass with you closer to death and no hope in sight.

Just went back and reviewed Griers drafts from 2017-2020, it’s almost impressive how bad his drafts have been. Top draft picks over that time period: Wilkins, Hunt, Tua. Six starters out of 32 draft picks and most of them are marginal starters like Baker, Gesicki, Hunt.

Not sure where anyone would.think Tua in playoffs will make.any difference.We.scored.21 pts yesterday and the 4 games previous with Tua we averaged 20.
The Tua McDaniel offence has been fiqured out and either has any answers.

I can’t blame McDaniel, he was given a QB who’s missed 4 games and a crappy OL. Really hard to be successful when you’re one dimensional and constantly relying on back ups. Yesterday was literally the 3rd game where the 3rd string QB had to come into the game. I’d venture to say that alone almost guarantees a loss.

I heard he was this running game guru like adam gase was the QB whisperer.Not.impressed.49ers lose 2 starting Qbs and win with mister irrelevant.Sure seems Shanahan was the reason that team is successful.
This dude has his offence fiqured out and made no successful adjustments.case.point 0-4 when it mattered. This dude will be back somewhere as a cord and Tua will be out of league in 2 years.U can quote me on this.
To me this is the most disappointing season in this 22 year slump.I truly thought at 8-3 we were legit!

The 9ers have one of the best OL’s in the NFL and we have one of the worst. Not to mention pro bowl TE and RB that we don’t have. You could put any QB behind that talent and they’d be successful.

The McDaniel complaints are funny because what is wrong with the team? Defense? The secondary is depleted and McDaniel didn't choose Boyer. QB play? They would have comfortably made the playoffs with Tua and if you want to complain about him getting hurt that is fine but McDaniel didn't pick him either.

I hear what your saying but think of this. This coach was handed a 9-8 team and wouldn't u think adding Hill,Armstead,Mosart,Wilson, and Chubb would give at minimum 10 wins?

They traded a team that only had a defense for a team that only had an offense. Flores was given opportunities to fix the offense and failed so now McDaniel needs to be the opportunity to fix the defense.

Hard to fix an offense when your GM can’t draft and hands you the worst starting OL in the NFL.

No point in crying over spilled milk but it’s pretty clear that both HC’s deficiencies are the GM’s inability to build a good roster.

I wish Flores was given the level of investment they’ve given McDaniel. But it’s hard to fault McDaniel when your QB has missed 4 games, 4/5 of our secondary is banged up or injured, our best defensive player from last year is out and every time Armstead goes out, our OL is horrible.

The issue is we rely on players that aren’t reliable for a full season(Tua, Armstead) and our GM has to rely on FA/trading 1st round picks because he can’t draft.

Having 2 great WR’s is nice but doesn’t matter when your defense sucks, your OL sucks and your QB only plays 13 games.

With a new coordinator hopefully. With those corners this defense couldn't possibly be good but there is enough talent that they probably shouldn't be bottom 5 either.

Well the offense scored 29+ 5 times. Last year they did that 0 times. So still a noticeable improvement.

Here is a surprise and another reason I think McDaniel is nothing special.
The 2020 dolphins not known for offence averages 25.3 a game. The 2022 dolphins with way more talent and it's not even close 24.1 thru 16 games.
