And as usual, the Orlando viewing area will once again be denied the Miami Dolphins. The CBS affiliate, who is showing an Interconferene game at 1:00pm in the Jets v Vikings, is broadcasting the Chiefs v Bengals in the last game. I don’t live in the Midwest. I live in Florida. What I’m God’s name does it take for a Florida television station to broadcast a Florida professional football game? This has been commonplace over past years. I assumed it was due to the Dolphins poor performance and ratings however, the Miami Dolphins are the number 2 seed in the AFC!!!!
They’ve been hyping up the Chiefs-Bengals game since last week. I’m not surprised that’s the featured game, although it would be nice to have a choice. Here’s hoping that Sunday Ticket looks a lot different, with more options, next year when it’s taken over by someone else.
I am curious, because I don’t look at standings THAT closely but… If we win today against the 49ers and the Chiefs lose to the Bengals, both the Dolphins and Chiefs will be 9-3. Who’s the number 1 seed in the AFC?
I’m not very confident about this one. Not only is there the three-hour time-zone change, but the 49ers will know Mike McD's offense inside out. I still haven’t recovered from SB XIX and I retain a deep hatred of San Francisco.
Miami because of conference record McDaniel would know more about them then the other way around so the offensive line is the real concern
Going into this game expecting a loss and if we win, great! Just not sure we’re going to be able to move the ball that effectively. I’ll be curious to see what tweaks McDaniel makes to compensate for having 2 back up OT’s. Guessing a lot of short passing/screen plays to make up for SF’s run defense with the occasional deep/intermediate to keep them honest.
No Armstead. All Dolfan eyes will be focused on that left end from the first snap. Today's going to be full of good action and all eyes are on our game. I probably should have become a drinker before today.
Keep a TE next to the LT all game and a back to help block next to Tua. Despite that limitation, I like the odds of Hill, Waddle, and a third guy getting open to give Tua somewhere to go with the ball. Throw in some draws and dump off passes as the TE and HB leak out. This game will tell us a lot about McDaniel and his ability to game plan and adjust.
Not feeling good about this one today. No Armstead, and now Jackson. Pray for Tua. Nobody's playing at CB again along side Howard. Iggy is inactive too. Bad point of the season to really have the injury bug strike, but the defense has been beat up for the last what... 5 or 6 games? Sucks this is our situation too on a big game with national attention. Offense going to need to be quick passing, let Hill and Waddle work. Hopefully we can get a run game going today too, but that's always a challenge for us too
Ugh... stuck with the Giants/Skins game still cuz its in overtime and the idiots at Bell/TSN havent changed it over yet. Even on the sunday ticket channel. So damn frustrating.
I'm not so sure its just injuries at this point. Age is catching up with him & we're goign to regret that contraact.
