So apparently Jason Taylor's son plays for LSU and he just beat stupid Nick Saban.

    Go LSU.

That loss should knock Alabama out of the playoff for the national championship, barring a meltdown by a whole bunch of teams that will be ahead of them in the next CFP standings.

Lol the funny thing is… all it takes is Ohio State vs Michigan game, if one or the other team gets blown out..

if LSU has a let down game (they still got arkansas and texas a&m)

tcu has texas, baylor and iowa state…

Yeah.. alabama isnt done yet.. theyre gonna run up the score and try to put 80 per game the next 3..

Alabama would still have to beat Georgia in the SEC Championship to get in, no matter what anyone else does.

Not counting out Nick Satan (and the NCAA) yet, but the window is very narrow for Alabama.

Lsu would have to lose 2 more games for Alabama to win the west and be able to go to the SEC championship game. I don't see that happening but do see the ncaa doing whatever it can to try and make it happen

LSU has Arkansas, UAB, and A&M left. No way are they losing two of them.

I honestly like the the old BCS ranking system.. now theyre talking college football playoff expansion.. which means these future NFL prospects play more games and hopefully they dont get injured.

but at the same time the top guys are now millionaires playing college football.. wouldnt shock me if CJ Stroud and Bryce Young look at Carolina’s situation, then take a hard look at their NIL deal and theyre like eh, one more year of college cant hurt no one. These ncaa players got power now.

But they also will be used to playing more games. Sometimes you can see a drop off late in the season for Rooks as the toll of a 17 game season wears on.

The NCAA has gotten the refs in on trying to help Alabama get to the playoff. Three blatant missed calls on the last drive by Ole Miss, including a WR getting leveled 15 yards downfield.

Here’s hoping the Rebels bury Satan and the Tide today.

A lot of things will have to break just right for them to get in as a 2 loss team, but if even a few games go their way over the next two weeks, I’m sure we’ll be hearing their name mentioned in the playoff discussion.

Apparently, that win over Arkansas clinched the division for LSU, so Alabama cannot play for the SEC championship.

Still can’t stick a fork in Alabama yet. Tennessee is getting waxed by South Carolina, and either Michigan or Ohio State is going to lose next week (both came close today). If UCLA holds on to beat USC, that moves Alabama to #5. If Georgia beats LSU OR TCU loses the Big 12 Championship, guess who moves up to #4???

Not necessarily; USC still has to beat Notre Dame and win the PAC-12 championship against probably Oregon before they make the playoffs. Lose either one, and they’re probably out.

    Alabama just has Auburn left.
