Week 9:Dolphins vs Bears

Can we please have a better first half from the D today?

 

Yay, another game were we win the coin toss then allow the other team to drive for points.

 

Wow our OL absolutely sucks in space on those outside runs. They all look lost. Nobody blocked anyone on that run to Mostert

 

Underthrown/late to Hill , but DPI on the Bears. We'll take it.

 

Touchdown Dolphins! That was easy! Tua looked pretty sharp that drive too, some nice throws over the middle on that one.

 

Got PI out of it again as the DB is too busy just trying to catch up.

 

Offense looking sharp, hope the D follows.

 

Yup, but I'd love at some point this season to see him hit Hill with one of those out in front of him. He looked too late on that one. He's got to commit to that pre-snap almost it seems with Hill because he's so fast. I dont know, arm looks fine to get the ball there, it's just late IMO. Those DPI calls though are the benefit

 

It’s bizarre being comfortably on 3rd and long and expecting the offence to get it. The Bears all jumped the Hill route and Tua throws a great pass in behind them for 18. Making it look easy.

 

Sherfield has been a pleasant surprise too for me.

 

His numbers don’t show it but he’s a brilliant WR3 in this offence. He’s reliable and a brilliant blocker.

 

We are quite deep on WRs this season, our best position group.

Nice to see the non tackling defence is back. Also, if you are going to spy the QB he shouldn’t be getting massive runs.

 

Wide open is Mooney on 3rd and 11. Shocking. Kohou beaten. Again. These backup CB's are killing us since week 1

 

Defence is brutal again. Going to have to score 40 to win this. Don’t trust this defence to get a single stop at the moment.

Fields is ugly. 3rd down you know he's looking first read, if not open he's running.

They got to work on those penalties and the tackling issues, it’s been like that all season long…

 

We get every single tickey tack penalty called on us every time

 

Tua just keeps carving up defenses. Love it.

No offsides call there?

 

That's a pretty weak roughing the passer call. It was late sure, but not really a hit. He held him up if anything. But... we'll take it! About time we see our QB being protected by the refs.

I really don't like that celebration from Tyreek. Good way to tear an ACL and that would be so fitting for Miami.

D needs to step up now. This year feels a little bit like the Marino Dolphins, with no real running game and no defense…
