Time to just send the house every other play. Have to force a turnover. Better than watching them drive slowly down the field.
That one was blatantly egregious, the ref had no excuses as he was right there and no one blocking his view. Just glad we got in but we shouldn’t have needed to run those extra plays.
Ran Brandon Jones was leading the team in tackles and was tied for the sack lead, so while that may be a reflection on a poor front 7, he’s important to the defense overall.
Exactly! Pretty sure they're even told on plays like that to call the TD when its that close so it's automatically reviewed. But... nope.
Guess we got in the ref's ears at halftime there, Lions finally getting called for holding even one that wasn't that egregious as some of the others on Phillips.
Yeah!! finally getting their OL for jumping the snaps too. It's about time. McDaniel must have gotten on them.
There you go Tua! Use that brain and those legs!!! Nice first down pickup there. Picked up a nice block from Ingold too.
I don't know if that is good or bad.... Bad for him sure, but better for the OL? Sorry, but it's a legit question.
Im not sure what happened to him. I rolled back to watch it again and you don't see it in the replays, last you see of him is one on one blocking his man still standing up right as the ball is thrown, nobody is around him. So... not sure what could have happened there and CBS isn't gonna show a replay.
He’s the weak link on our OL so it’s a fair question. You’d have to think he’s better then the back up, otherwise why is he starting?
I'm sorry for him as a human being and player, hopefully he can come back and continue to develop as a player. Never want to see someone injured and a career ruined.
Actually I went back further to the live replay of the play. Eich has his man blocked, standing up right, Williams is engaged and the DL he's blocking gets shoved and basically lifted up and dropped by Williams right into Eich's leg, looks like he got the DL's weight right on his leg while upright and from the angle it doesn't look like Eichs leg/knee would have bent in a way it's supposed to. He's done for the year IMO,
