Well ima point out jaelen phillips trash play every sunday when he does not have sacks or pressures on the board. Yall can trash the coach and tua, ill take on jaelens scrub ***. Its time for him to get his lumps. Im seeing Micah parsons just completely changing the identity of the cowboys with his pressure. We are not getting our investment in return from Jaelen and we cant ignore that, he is not some third or fourth round pick, this was a high pick and guys like Asante Samuel Jr is making plays and he was the 44th pick.

You gotta get on Jevon Holland then too. He's been non existent in the secondary thus far.

Holland has been one of the few good picks Grier has made, but hey, even a broken clock is right twice a day. More infuriating is wasting a first round pick on Noah Igbinogene who still can't contribute anything even with Jones and Howard out.

Bridgewater didn't have a concussion, for whatever it's worth.

This new rule is gonna get out of hand.

Does that mean he isn't in the protocol and can play next week?

Ah, ok. Didn't realise. My point still stands though.

No chance of a big name QB getting pulled. I'd love to know what the spotter saw to get Teddy pulled. He got up fine, I thought it was his ribs or elbow that was hurt. Did he stumble on the sidelines?

Can you image if they pulled Allen or Mahomes during a playoff game due to something that the spotter had seen?

Disgusting call. If that's roughing the passer then you are essentially not allowed to sack the QB. Should just put a flag on them at this point.
Problem is that those rules only apply to certain QB's while others get drilled with no flags.

Not saying he's a genius but if you watch the All-22 we routinely have WR running wide open, something we haven't seen from this team in a long, long time.

I'm expecting the same this week when it gets released. I'm betting there are numerous plays where we had guys open but Skylar just missed them or the OL collapsed before Skylar could get the ball out. Greg Little had the type of game that made Jessie Davis look like a better option. He was getting beat every single way an OL can.

No doubt, if that was roughing the passer on Brady...who was scrambling to avoid being sacked, then it should have been roughing the passer on Bridgewater who was actually throwing the ball.

This is really going to get out of hand...and be enforced VERY selectively.

Judging by his demeanour this season I'm not convinced he will want to be. Genuinely looks like he's been inconvenienced by being asked to play.

Difficult to give judgment on just one play from scrimmage, but it sure seemed to me when Bridgewater dropped back, he was moving in super slo-mo…as if it was a practice walk through.

    Just my impression

And since he was throwing the ball in the grasp of a defender, Teddy shouldn't have been hit with an intentional grounding. I hope they're not picking on us now.

You literally haven't posted in years since the Dolphins have owned the Jets. Beat our third string QB and now you're back trying to stir stuff which is pathetic. Congrats on winning your super bowl.

I wonder when was the last time a game started with a safety.. good lord.. thats a new low for our offensive line..

Back to topic though this is why i said that this smells like a miami dolphins rule… you may see it in effect to other players around the nfl but so long as Tua is here and McDaniels, we will probably get affected by it at a higher rate than other teams.

A corner blitz isn't on the OL, though. Teddy should have rolled coverage or made the hot read to account for the blitz.

Dude you only show up cuz the Jet's beat us. I know you used to come here and the other place in the past and brought some engaging conversation, but at this point... that's not what's going on. Your last post before the jests win yesterday was from May of 2021 and you only came here because the jets won, and to make an essentially negative comment towards our HC and everything else was you playing the victim. "that was mean"... "what happened to this place?". What reaction do you really expect? Want us to roll out the red carpet for you to come and stir the pot?

    Nah, just a joke.

Someone on reddit said he didn't want to doxx the guy but said this...

"He's a retired athletic trainer who has lived in NYC for 43 years. He performs the ATC Spotter duties for the stadium (both jets and giants games). Based on what a friend told me who was approached to be an UNC in an NFL city, I'd guess he's paid by the NFLPA as that's how my friend understood he would be paid (not 100% confirmed though). I guess there's a chance it could be from a joint fund the NFL and NFLPA both pay into."

It's on the internet so obviously it has to be true. /s

If this is true then it's an obvious oversight by the NFL/NFLPA. You now have massive game altering decisions in the hands of a person who lives in that NFL city and is most probably a fan of the home team. Are these spotters checked and vetted to make sure they aren't biased, betting on games, being bought off by gamblers to kick a player out etc?

Opens a whole can of worms imho.

Did you see the roughing the passer call last night? It might be even worse than the Brady call. Mahomes also got away with an intentional grounding that was way worse than Teddy's.

Watching more of this weeks games it seems to me that the NFL set out to punish the Dolphins this week.

    Fair enough.

FWIW, I think the Dolphins have a very good team. I think Tua is going to be a very good QB in the mold of Drew Brees (very accurate.) Your wideouts are phenomenal and I really like Mossfert at RB. The game would have been a lot different if Tua was playing. Also, I like your defense.

I have no delusions of grandeur regarding the Jets. I'm not sold on the coaching staff and I'm not sold on Wilson. I really like our GM though and I think his last draft was one for the ages. But the Jets are a 6-7 win team right now and it really all rides on Wilson. Sadly, I think the Bills are still the class of the division.

Anyway, apologies for the snarky comment. And honestly I'd come around more if the old time guys I used to converse with were out here in the open forum. Tell Ronnie I said hello

The whole idea of “spotters” is ridiculous. If team and independent doctors aren’t sufficient to determine if a player is injured or not, especially with the technology that each team should have in their facilities, then some random nitwit in the crowd isn’t going to make a difference.
