On paper we should win this even without our starting QB. However nothing in the NFL is a freebie. I’m worried that we are going to use this game to try and establish the run. We have not had a very good ground game and I believe McDaniel will want to force feed the run with Teddy Sleepwater behind the line. This IMHO will lead to a lot of 3 and outs for the offense especially early on. Our defense also is going to get tested. I feel they have been exposed in the secondary and on short yardage. Still think we win but I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s a 20-16 kinda game with field goals as the main points for both teams
My worry is that if Miami loses, the Jets fan I work with is going to be even more annoying this week. I can't handle that so LET'S GO PHINS!
You know this is a great test for McDaniel. Good coaches can still keep a team competitive with a backup QB even if win% does decrease. We really need to win this game or it will be an uphill battle to beat the Bills for the division crown. 4-1 coming up!!
that would be a disaster IMHO. We would lose all the momentum from beating good teams and start to let some doubt creep in. Good teams win these easily but again I fell we’re going to force feed the run and try to win via that.
It will be a disaster, but the disaster honestly already happened when Tua went down. Season's pretty much over.
Cleary we are not and Tua's quick decision making was massively helping the OL. Teddy and Skylar look completely lost behind this OL, so either our WR are suddenly not getting free or those two just aren't seeing things the way Tua did.
