O he will, and he will likely start. As bad as hes been he is still better than at least 10 current starters in the NFL. I know for sure he can start in cleveland, seattle, jets and other teams..
its too early for the titans to give up on the season.. so they will stick with Tannehill till the playoffs seem unlikely. Malik hasnt shown anything.. if you saw the titans get a spark on the offense i think there would be pressure to make the change.
Here's a nice little factoid: Tannehill's 32.7 rating against the Bills was the lowest single game rating he's had in 135 games started (140 if you count playoff games). That's true whether you adjust ratings for era or not. Also for reference (just having fun here): if you make 1 pass attempt and it's incomplete and that's all you do, your rating is 39.6 lol.
Lol i liked wilson out of college but he hasnt shown me that he will be better than Sam Darnold… tannehill is way ahead of zack.. hes easily the worst quarterback in our division and thats saying something because Mac has been ***
Doesn't matter what he's shown you. The Jets JUST drafted him high in the first. They're not giving up on him.
Um obviously they dont care what a guy that doesnt work for the NFL has to say, my post was that tannehill is still a starter next year for many teams as hes clearly better than more than a handful of starters in the nfl
Yeah, as good as Allen and the offense have been ... that defense has been lights out against two solid offensive teams. We can't let this get away from us early, and we just cannot afford mistakes like we made against the Ravens. The Titans special teams got absolutely abused, ours cannot repeat that stuff. They were talking about how the Bills punter has an odd rotation on his balls.
Brissett is a fine quarterback. He will never be a great starter, but he is a fine backup. Last year when he was in charge of the offense it was mostly painful to watch. Agreed. Flores did such a terrible job with the offense.
Jerry's dangling that carrot in front of Kellen Moore and Dan Quinn. Even talked both out of interviewing for head coaching jobs with the alleged promise of consideration for replacing McCarthy. But everybody who's paying attention knows that Payton will be in Dallas sooner than later.
If the Cowboys fire McCarthy during the season and replace him with Payton, do they still have to work out something with the Saints, or is he no longer under contract with NO?
My guess is that they'd have to make a trade with New Orleans. Bringing in an outside coach would likely violate the Rooney Rule, so I doubt that it'll happen, though.
Notable injuries reported today.. Micah Hyde - out for season with a neck injury huge blow for Buffalo and they lose two starting defensive backs with neck injuries.. i hope they make a full recovery, in this sport thats the career and life changing injury. taylor lewan - out for season with a knee.. Titans struggled to run and pass block after he went down… tannehill has been a statue in the pocket… henry does not have the same burst he had pre injury… this may be a long season for the titans..
It will be interesting to see how the Bills react to their injury issues because on a neutral field with everybody healthy, I think I'd take the Bills over anybody in the league today. That being said, I'm not sure how much more there is in the Bills before they hit their ceiling. Whereas there are a few other teams that have looked good so far this season that I think still have more areas to grow before they cap out.
He's still nursing that rib injury from last game. He's really off. Lots of bad passes. Not sure I'd keep playing him. Also impressed at Lawrence. Many good QBs have bad rookie seasons and maybe that'll be true for Lawrence. He was abysmal last season but he's looking like a real QB today.
That was an outrageous pass and catch just then. Will be interesting to see how this class of rookies QBs along with last year's class manages to develop. Covid will have definitely played a part in their development and for some of them it might be what stops them from surviving the NFL.
Trevor Lawrence has most definitely arrived.. There are very rare can’t miss quarterbacks, once in a generation quarterbacks. Peyton Manning, Andrew Luck and now it’s Trevor Lawrence time. Like what im seeing from the Jaguars, they have good ownership and they made the best hiring they could have made for Trevor. we may see tua vs trevor in the playoffs at some point. They both have been around each other since senior high workouts before they entered college.
The 49ers and Broncos look horrendous offensively. I'm not sure if Wilson is just plain bad or if the coaching is just that bad ... maybe both? That was a team definitely considered a playoff contender and I haven't seen anything of that yet. Meanwhile, Jimmy G giving a masterclass in why he lost his job to Trey Lance.
I think pete carroll is a wanted man in denver.. right now, he’s looking like the smartest guy in the NFL.. russ definitely has his moments but his limitations are also just as clear..
I think the injuries have finally caught up to Russ and made his previous limitations already worse. Either way the result helps our draft position.
Hackett has truly looked like a rookie head coach who may be out of his depth (still kinda early, but we’ll see). Very glad we ended up with McDaniel as our coach.
Giants center is pretty awful.. he gives the cowboys defense a head start with his slow snaps.. i can see the pressure coming before daniel gets the football on his hand
Like seeing Saquon get that big touchdown run and play like he is capable of.. last year when he got injured, he was so angry and confused, he didnt know how it was possible to get injured after all the work he puts on himself.
I wonder if jerry is contemplating trading Dak after this season.. cooper looks solid, im not sure hes ready to take the reigns.. but i think jerry wants out of daks contract
Baltimore couldnt hold onto a 20-3 lead or even score two field goals.. pathetic.. we couldve really used that loss to the bills.. harbaugh makes some wild decisions on the field
