People should also take a look at Hills numbers the last couple games vs NE. Bill was never going to let him beat them deep.

And yeah everyone just sees the occasional "**** it Tyreek down there somewhere" highlight and don't realize that short passes to him is his bread and butter

What does this stuff prove? Well, it proves that it doesn't really prove anything, LOL.

Dolphins' Tua Tagovailoa improvises if play calls come in slowly (palmbeachpost.com)

"Sunday not only marked the head-coaching debut of Mike McDaniel, but the first time he called plays, at least officially. McDaniel said he’d prepared for this moment for years, calling plays only in his head while serving as an offensive coordinator.

Visualizing it is one thing. Doing it is another. Forty seconds between plays can speed by when you’re on either end of those headsets.

McDaniel acknowledged as much Monday, crediting Tagovailoa with making it work even amid any frustrating moments when calls trickled in.

“A lot had to do with me,” McDaniel said.

When it did, Tagovailoa had to make do.

“It was kind of on-the-fly things, like, ‘Hey, we don’t have a play. Let’s go to this play.’ Or, ‘Let’s just go to this play,’ ” Tagovailoa said."
