Good point. The speed may be surprising to him considering he could run by players in college in a split second. I think the same problem applies to Reggie Bush when he is running the ball.
Maj, you could have saved a lot of pain and heartache in this thread if you could have included this in your original post. You are obviously frustrated as an OSU fan (oh not to mention the USC game..) & supporter of TGinn that you weren't thinking clearly when you originally started this thread. I do agree with you that the FO needs to utilize TG more, put him in motion to get him off the bump and run coverage at the very least. One would think they have a purpose in what they are doing, we just don't know what it is yet.
traded or not... he was the wrong pick... All this time the excuse has been what would you rather have Ginn/Beck or Quinn/Smith.... I have an answer, I'll take Quinn/smith every day and thrice on sundays
Oh I don't know. He can't get open because of his technique, not his speed. He needs to refine it. [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZV1vaKFMbu4]YouTube - Ted Ginn 1st career punt return for a TD!!![/ame] As you can see he's not that shifty at the start. Not superquick with the acceleration.
Hmm, I was actually in favor of Ronnie Brown. i didn't have an opinion about Jason Allen or Vernon Carey. And I was VERY vocally against Ginn and Beck. I wanted us to pick up a LT instead of Ginn. Silly me I thought getting a premier LT might have helped the team out a bit...
