Time to settle the "fair-weather" fans debate

First and foremost.I'm not a bandwagoner.All that know me can account for that.I have been with the Dolphins my whole life and recall the misery and the glory we have had throughout our franchise history.
On the other hand.I do say what's on my mind whether about the Fins or life in general.I might be wrong at times,but it comes from the heart.It is who I am.Sometimes people just don't like hearing the truth(or opinions) from others.It comes out wrong or hurts peoples feelings.Maybe the other people just don't understand where you're coming from.We are in this for the same cause.We want to see the Dolphins win.Some people just have different views and perspectives and voice them their own unique way.

The Phins are a lot like my daughter. She takes a lot of big poops that I have to deal with, but I still lover her unconditionally.

I think anyone who stuck around after last year can be considered a serious Dolfan.

 

We are here because we all share a deep abiding love for our Miami dolphins, and they need our support now more than they ever have, so lets go, let's LOVE DEM DOLPHINS!

We WILL be great again, just gonna take more time than we want it to. which will make it all thqat much sweeter when we get back to the top of the mountain. I personally will never stop climbing, call me Froto if you will, but this climb cannot be stopped!

 

What about guys like me that believed that we'd go 10-6 this season and still believe that we might still end up that way this season.

Seriously, now. We ***** because we care. It we weren't fans, we'd just stop doing everything Dolphins related. Most importantly, though, we are ENTITLED to *****, and not just because of the emotional investment we have in our beloved Fins. Some people think that criticism is equivalent to treason and accuse anyone who won't engage in positive groupthink of not being a fan. On the contrary; criticism is recognition of the problem, which is the first step in solving it. That's how things get better. So rag. Even if it accomplishes nothing, it's good for your psyche.

Actually, this is the most therapeutic site on the internet for us

Negativity sucks, but sometimes you just gotta vent.

Not to mention that a lot of times, you might see someone else's view on the situation and it might put things in perspective and suddenly your able to step away from the ledge and get ready for the next week.

 

It's good to see a thread like this after sunday when some person said they were quite ashamed of some of the fans on this site.

 

Fins for life!!!

 

I love my fins but for the last 4 years depression has overcone my feelings,did i mention i love the dolphins........

 

Why don't you just go and represent us as a fan? Don't lower yourself to the level of some of the other people that we talk about being inconsiderate etc. We as Dolfans should be a cut above the fans of these other teams.
We may not be playing good right now, but our day will come and we can show them what classy fans do.
Not, trying to be a jerk or preach to you HardKore. I was just thinking about all this earlier and thought we are the BEST fans anywhere and we should show it with dignity.
We can take all our frustrations out, here, at home on the best site anywhere.

 

Reasons for optimism:
1. coaching seems much more professional and organized
2. personel staff seems much more developed and experienced
3. young players developing for the future
4. Parcells overlooks everything going on

I think Sparano needs to build the players into a sizeable rage this week, possibly even questioning there manhood... When they get on the field this week I want them to be questioning there own humanity to the point of going Tyson on the Patsies! (Missing ears or fingers will be ok!) And POINT-OUT Goodman in particular and ask if he has any Huevos or if he plans on getting burnt every weekend... And tell the OL that all Ricky and Ronnie need is a FRIGGIN' crease for Pete's sake!

Seriously though you're right. I may bring a sign but I don't think it will be as mean spirited (aka funny) as I described.

I have an intense hatred for the other team's in our division. This is because I go to alot of games at Dolphin Stadium and have to interact with opposing fans. Its different for people in diff states who only watch the games on TV and dont understand this dynamic.

Not using that as an excuse to do things in poor taste, but it doesnt hurt

 

I congratulate whoever made this thread as he's right. All because I critique like a mad man doesn't mean I don't care. There are realists on this board who just realize when crap is headed in the wrong direction. We're not pessimists we just don't like sugarcoating mistakes.
