Head coach hire to be announced soon?

 

You'd think so. Unless Frye was caught saying bad words outside the locker room.

 

Is this a shock? All our coaches are in limbo. i'd be looking for another job too before the inevitable occurs when the new coach brings in his new staff. The only guys who even have a chance would be the defensive staff, even then I'd probably call their chances slim.

 

It's odd that they wouldn't wait till we got a new coach unless someone else is offering him a job.

 

That's probably what happened- it's the top of the coaching cycle and people are gauging interest around the league. He probably got a few phone calls and figured, the heck with it...I'm out!

Or, it could be because there was a handshake deal on a new HC and they want their own QB coach. Either way would make sense this time of year.

 

Wasn't Charlie Frye the Tua whisperer?

 

Not only was he the Tua whisperer...He also played for the Cleveland Browns.

 

Well... i guess Tua did actually get a little better this year from his rookie year...so there is that lol.

But i wouldn't call that "wisperer" level improvement

 

Maybe he whispered, "Get the head coach fired to reach your full potential."
