It's always an excuse for Herbert's stans.

I think it's very simple. Tua is given the resources this year to improve greatly. If he succeeds then they Dolphins are in great shape. If he fails, they move on in 2023 with plenty of resources to get a top quarterback.

When has Tua ever played an amazing game?Herbert was rookie of the year and has 69 tds to Tua 25.
Nowhere besides here is this even a conversation. This a fact!Nobody in the country will tell you Tua has anywhere near the talent of Herbert.Lets say this again 69 tds which is 414pts to 25 tds 150 pts.The qbs job is to lead his offence to points correct? He did his job and last year like Tua this year had the 32nd ranked offensive line.
He did his job again against raiders threw for almost 400 yds and 3 tds.Idiot coach calls timeout as raiders were going to run the clock out.A tie they both make playoffs. Not to mention the moron goes for it at his own 10 yd line in third quarter and the running back gets stuffed for no gain.
What does Tua have to do throw 100 yds to win the game while riding the coattails of his defence?Big ****ing deal.
If we had the chargers D we would have won 1 or 2 games.
You are a blind homer if you think we made the right choice of Tua over Herbert.

    From the article:
"To be clear: Flores was part of the collaborative effort to draft Tagovailoa No. 5 overall in the 2020 draft. He wanted Tagovailoa at that point.

Had Flores balked at drafting Tagovailoa back then, opting instead for Justin Herbert, who was the only other real choice, the Dolphins would have likely gone in that direction, even though general manager Chris Grier and others wanted Tagovailoa

Because Tua does not play like Herbert does, and he can't do the things Herbert can.

What a ****ing idiot. No wonder Flores fell out with him. BTW, "good" is not good enough for a #5 overall pick.

And yet, for all that Herbert can do, he finished 9-7 and out of the playoffs.

    Like, you know, Tua did.

Here is the million dollar question!
Who would you rather have as your QB Tua or Herbert!

At this point the million dollar question is would you rather stick with Tua or make a move at QB? My vote is for Rodgers preferably since you don’t need to move draft capital and he can bring Adams with him. Or trade for Watson/Wilson depending on the legal situation with Watson. If he’s clear of suspension and legal issues that’s a go for me and I can flip Tua for a 1st in a horrible QB draft.

The million dollar answer is it doesn't matter. It's over. The Dolphins have Tua. You will be hard pressed to find someone on here that says Tua is better than Herbert at this moment. You keep thinking people are saying that, but in reality you just read what you want to read.

We want Tua to succeed. The reality is that Herbert was put into a way better situation than Tua has and has outperformed him.

I think the talent is there for him to be a great quarterback in this league. He just needs more talented players around him and there's nothing wrong with that.

Herbert didn’t have the benefit of playing the Jets 2x, Giants, a Saints team down like 12 players from Covid in their 4th string qb, a horrible panthers team…after losing to Jacksonville and Atlanta. Our opponents had a 481 winning percentage while the Chargers had the 10th toughest schedule and opponents had a 519 winning percentage. So it’s not the same. Herbert also carries his team for stretches at a time….I can’t say that about Tua

And here's the billion dollar question:

Since that ship sailed, why is that a million dollar question?

    Here's the trillion dollar question?

Would you rather finish the season 9-8 or 9-8?

Position by position, who you taking on Miamis offense over the chargers? For me it's Gesicki and Hunt. Even Waddle gets beat out by Allen. Not that this matters. Tua is a Dolphin and Herbert is a Charger.

You're funny. Or maybe, I am. I dunno. But I thought your question was rhetorical because at this point, we cannot get Justin Herbert. Personally, I'd rather have Aaron Rodgers or Patrick Mahomes.

    Straight savage.

Honestly, I don't understand why people can't just admit that Hebertb is a far superior QB. Hebert IS driving the offense. Tua, once again, just like I've been saying since before we drafted if, is NOT the driving focal point of the offense. It's exactly like Alabama, except in Miami Tua isn't throwing to multiple round 1 receivers, doesn't have a monster oline, and isn't handing off to multiple first round running backs.

That is why Hebert was the right pick, and Tua was the wrong pick. Tua is a fine pick if the best QBs are gone, and it's late in the 1st, and you NEED a QB.

I hope that Grier can pull his head out of his *** and get an oline and a RB. If he does that, Tua can be successful, and therefore the Dolphins can be successful. But they should be seeking every avenue to upgrade Tua.

It's very simple. Post one quote from someone on this website that declares Tua a better quarterback than Herbert.

By the way, Herbert is 0-1 vs Tua.

So, you like Tua or you don't? The last part of your post is what Tua supporters have been saying for two years. He needs a competent offensive line and better skill position players.

    Herbert has that.

    That's all we ask for.
