I guess to make enough room for Lindsay's salary? Can't think of what else.

Dude, clearly they needed money for bonuses for Grier and the OL coach.

Don't unused cap from this season get added to the next season's cap?

Yes. Though as close as we are right now, I imagine that's negligible.

The good news I that we already are slated to have the most cap room next year, and we can create a ton more by cutting fringe guys.

I mean, an extra 3.7 mill for next season is nothing to sneeze at.

I don't disagree. But they have no choice but to fill this year's roster and keep a full 53. And every guy they put on IR still counts.

Hopefully they sign Gesicki and Ogbah. Then we really need to target a LT. I don’t want the top one in the market but someone who can play at a decent level. Then we need to move Davis to LG and Liam to RT.

I have a wish list for next year.. and it started with Davante Adams. If that doesnt come about, i want Chris Godwin.

Given that my first two wishes - Nick Chubb and Mark Andrew's, are off the market, I'd be thrilled to sign Chris Godwin to pair with Parker as our starting outside WRs next year, with Waddle in the slot.

Im a huge fan of Godwin.. i like that he plays strong, can run crisp routes, can break tackles.. can take the top off you.. we need to start getting some real playmakers on this team.. buffalo got stefon diggs for nothing off the vikings, and look at what hes done to change Josh Allens career…

Ngakoue was basically free for the raiders and hes having a career year..same with judon in the patriots..

its time for us to go after some superstars and if davante or godwin can be had, give them their money..

Mark Andrews was never going to go to market. I can't believe you even thought that. TJ Watt had a bigger chance of going to market.

Interesting, that implies BOTH would be healthy and on the field at the same time. You are certainly a glass half full type of guy.

Parker is cheap enough that you can justify keeping him and expect only a half season of games from him -but you need quality WR depth behind him to make that work.

You need to talk with some of the other guys who see me as woefully pessimistic!

Okay, you see the glass as half full, but.... the water is from Flint, Michigan.

If the Packers keep Rogers, then there’s no way Adams hits FA. As far as Miami’s WR room, Fuller, Parker, Williams and Wilson should all be gone, one way or another.

Thats a big if, as good as rodgers still is, the guy is becoming a hippie weirdo lately and i think the front office in green bay has had enough of the antics. They were done with Favre’s drama at one point, theyll be done with Rodgers too.

If i were green bay id give him the money he seeks with a large bonus incentive of shutting the **** up/no more appearances on mcafees dumb show.
