I'm desperately attached to any productive players that I have, barely fielding a full team some weeks due to injuries and other factors.
That’s a tricky situation. Sometimes it can be better to go the other direction especially when you’ve been trying to build up for a while.
I've tried a lot of different things, lol. I traded for one of the best RBs in the league in Chubb, but he's been hampered by a time share and injuries, and now he's out with Covid. I drafted one of the best WRs in the league in Calvin Ridley, but he's stepped away from football for unknown reasons. I drafted QBs that were picked fairly high IRL three years in a row, and in each case the team gave up on them quickly. My 1st overall pick this year Javonte Williams leads the entire NFL in broken tackles, but the Broncos insist on splitting time evenly between him and Melvin Gordon. Fantasy is a lot harder than it used to be! Just is what it is.
Timing is everything. Sometimes you draft the right guy in the wrong era or trade for the right guy at the wrong time. Derrick Henry was in the same situation as Javonte his first few years in the league where he was time sharing with Dion freaking Lewis.
Sorry mi espanol es muy mal. I meant Hermana, As in How much for your sister, y uno mas cerveca por favor and donde esta el banyo is about all my Spanish
Trade deadline 11/20 - feel free to shoot me some offers and see if we have a fit. Also, playoffs start week 15, so non-playoff positioning is set after week 14. 4 more weeks to make your moves and work your way into the playoff race. Right now, the playoff race is tight, with every team still in it, Taylors being 3 games out as the difference from 12 to 6. 4 teams are only a game out of the 6th spot. And this year, as we all know, just make it in and see what happens, as it's been a crazy year score wise. Good luck to all!
Hey, you could be the second highest scoring team in the league and be sitting at 6-6 and potentially missing the playoffs smh
Crazy day today. Never would have thought I had a chance to win the day started. Glad I didn’t get caught by the inactives for sure.
My opponent has everyone except their defense finished for the week, but I still have a RB, WR and kicker going, so I've got a shot. Either way, I'm already eliminated.
youre up by 9 with NE Def left. i hope Buffalo's offense shows up tonight and you win. i want a high draft pick
LOL, I think we'll both end up with a high pick, its just a question of order. At the moment, I'm not excited about anyone who's likely to be at the top of the draft though. We'll see how that might change in the Spring.
Imagine you only need a mediocre performance from Josh Allen to win the week and set yourself up for the playoffs only to see him playing in tropical storm force winds. Brandon’s ecstatic though!
Man, Jefferson should have about 250 yards and 3 TDs tonight in the first half if Cousins would be a tad bit more on tonight.
Yeah Cousins has one pass that looks terrific, and then one where it looks like a random fan threw the ball. Strange.
Hopefully I don’t lose this week by not having a chance to set my lineup and having Cook on the bench, lol. Eek.
I'm thankful that the fantasy Channel on Sirius said he was playing when I was listening this morning. I had him benched in our other league until then. Now. He might get me into the playoffs.
Given that I'm not going to outscore Taylors Gators by more than 200 points this week, it looks like Mr Takes Yo Gurley and I will have the top two picks in some order. He's scored 2 more point than me this season, so this week will decide it.
Need a win today boys! Blunts! SMASH! It would be nice to finish .500 after starting as bad as I did tis year, and theres a slim chance of squeeking into the playoffs if the rest of you 7-6 teams poop the bed today.
It looks like the race for the #1 pick might come down to a handful of points. We've all been honorable and fielded our best teams each week, I think.
