They didn't trade any veterans because they are probably thinking this season is a fluke and they are better than they are.

Next year is their last stand and they're betting on it.

Lets pretend we live in a world where ross isn’t a complete clown shoes owner for a second. With a front office that is currently 1-7 in year 3 i would hope he would put a halt on all trades because these morons don’t deserve to do anymore damage to this team. Better off trying to let someone new trade the parts in the offseason.

I write science fiction for a living and even I can't imagine a world that starkly different from reality.

When Parker is HEALTHY, he plays lights out! The problem is that he’s never CONSISTENTLY healthy. He’s like that new car that LOOKS soooo good but it was a fluke manufacturing year and the car itself deep down is a lemon…but you just LOVE how it looks and so t want to get rid of it.

    That’s Parker

When he's healthy he's an above average possession receiver. He has no burst, no speed and no big play ability.

Very cool career! I've ghostwritten dozens of books for clients and keep dreaming of the day where I can write fiction for a living...but still haven't made the move.

Have the books you've ghostwritten sold well? If you can do that, why wouldn't you have the confidence to write something for yourself? I'm clueless to this field, so excuse my ignorance!

There was another poster in a previous thread that said that we need to rebuild the entire WR room. I really think that he hit the nail on the head. I think as fans, we tend to overvalue players on our squad. DVP is good when he plays, but he is always hurt. I think we gotta stop hoping that a leopard is gonna change its spots.

I think that we should start fresh with Waddle being our feature WR and extend Gesicki (who is essentially a WR). I would keep Bowden as our one and ONLY developmental WR.

The rest seriously should be gone. Preston Williams has long overstayed his time here. I don't care that he's cheap. Fuller has been a disaster. Wilson had one good season. No more pretending that he is gonna return. Allen Hurns, LOL. Why was he ever even a thing.

I think we need to get a known commodity - Allen Robinson or Chris Godwin. Back up the money truck.

If we can't get either of those guys, move on to Mike Williams.

Next target is Michael Gallup if the price is right.

DO NOT sign anyone old other than Allen Robinson. Also, no injury prone WRs. Target a WR in the 2nd or 3rd round.

Some have done pretty well, but being an author is a really tough profession. Writing the book is maybe 5% of the process- the other 95% is marketing and promoting. I'd rather just write and be creative. =)

Yeah, I get that. Plus I suck at marketing. Luckily, I found a couple publishers who do a good job at it.

If he did ghost-writing, he probably can't tell you the titles. Usually, you have to sign a contract not to reveal that you wrote it and not the author whose name is on the cover.

It would be more unbelievable if he played. He's been "battling" hamstrings since we drafted him. He's either milking it or a complete idiot when it comes to conditioning. I'm sure the medical staff just shakes their head at him. Another first round bust.

Honestly he was the only WR I would have thought about bringing back last year. Not any more. If we bring back a single WR besides Waddle (and maybe Hollins as a ST) then we are doing something wrong. I can't believe we are trotting out Isiah Ford and Mack Hollins as key cogs AGAIN this year!?!?!?!

I have written a total of 49 books and I believe 47 of them are currently available on Amazon.
I have a website, but it's particularly useless because I rarely update it. I'll PM you my author name.

A "big part of the corps" is a term you're using very loosely. He had 200 yards receiving.

OOf.. a 2nd for Parker is more than worth it. Can't handle the will he play/will he not, will he show up Sunday or wont he(If he plays?)

Parker is a drain. Dolphins making all wrong moves again. We need to be in rebuild mode and build from the interior and out once again on both sides of the ball, On D nearly the whole front 7 need strengthening.

Noted...but to be fair its not like he was vastly less than everyone else. He was called into action after all the injuries so its not like he was a starter all year and had 200 yds. And we basically threw it to him at the line of scrimmage all the time. What i mean is, he was involved alot when we had alot of injuries

True. It's sad that if he was healthy today he would be our #2 wide receiver most likely. And, that's not good.

Just another indictment on Grier. Perfect sell high opportunity missed for a guy that can't stay healthy and a team that is 1-7.

You just can't make this stuff up...SMH.

That may be what fans want, but asking Grier and Flores to do that is just not realistic. At most we might have tried to offload one big salary (like X or Byron). We weren't going to be wheeling and dealing.

If/when they are confirmed to return for next year? I suspect we see a lot more, possibly including Tua/Watson round 3.

We need to do building/re-building but more than that, we need to sort out coaching. This whole team, all positions/teams, would be performing a lot better with good coaching and development.

Swapping pieces without upgrading the coaching will ultimately prove to be pointless. :(

We were traveling this weekend so I didn't get to watch the game (first time in years!). I watched the highlights though and it looked like the defense was showing up and really playing tough on the field. Gisecki looked great, Brissett looked "eh" and the protection via highlights looked pretty good anyway. It also seemed like we were generating pretty good pressure....but again, highlights tend to lie!

Pretty sure I can watch the game via NFL Shorts with the Sunday Ticket, so if that's still available I'll post a review after lunch today!
