Can't argue with any of these five blunders. You're absolutely right. Every one of them are proving to be very questionable. Drafting Tua over Herbert looks like a big mistake, I don't understand the trade/wheeling and dealing for Waddle who may have possibly just been there for us at 12, and I certainly did not agree with cutting players like Karras, Van Noy, and Flowers who were very important to this team. Van Noy was the leader and the heart of our defense.

BTW, people here keep acting like this is just disaffected Dolphins fans making these observations. It's not. EVERYONE sees what's happening with this team. They don't care about it the way we do, but when I interact with fans of other teams, they see it. EVERYONE can see that we made a mistake with Tua instead of Herbert, and everyone can see our defense sucks.

The maddening thing is these last 2 drafts might be two of the best in recent history, especially from a franchise QB standpoint, and we only managed to score a good DT and a small WR who will likely be good. Phillips could be good and maybe Holland/Eich develop. But that is ridiculous considering we had what, 9 picks in the first 2 rounds?

I sometimes think we would have been better off keeping Laramy Tunsil.

With Grier making the picks, yes we would. Grier has to be one of the worst talent evaluators in the history of the NFL.

What do you mean Injury excuse?

I finally found someone who agrees with me that the handling of Tua and Fitz and Gailey was incredibly egregious, unfair disrespectful and stupid

I think the person who said we have no identity is really on to something. Are we a running team? A passing team? A defensive team? A creative, innovative team? No identity means were kinda wandering through the forest. This is what I would want Flo to prioritize - What the hell kind of team are we except for a losing team.

I just care about production. If we were winning and scoring points and some games we were throwing the ball 50 times and other games we were running 50 times, I wouldn't care.

I think it’s hard to have any kind of identity when you don’t have a good OL and no franchise QB.

if you have a good OL and no franchise QB then you have a run identity. If you have a franchise QB you have a passing identity.

I was thinking we were going to be a defensive team but then they moved to offense picks. And they achieved being offensive but not the offensive that we all were looking for.

Yeah, gutting our pass rush this off-season is up there with some of Grier’s dumbest moves. At this point, it looks like we may have gotten the U of M’s 2nd best pass rusher.

Agreed! With that many picks, we should be show far more improvement. Instead, we look worse than when Gase was here. We missed on so many picks. Grier has got to be fired this year. He can’t be allowed to blow another draft.
