The Bengals messed up taking such an injury prone player.

He was the first pick for a reason the team still sucks and he gets hit too much so somethings bound to happen. But he's absolutely carrying that team and they are having a much improved season this year compared to us. If they could only kick a field goal..

I bet he'll be back next week. Not like the bum that we have that misses multiple games every year

He took a massive hit but came back and finished the game in a close dual against Aaron Rodgers. Nothing soft about him...

He didn't play great today and threw a terrible pick and had multiple more dropped.

He played well, had a couple picks but played well overall, took it to overtime and came within a field goal of beating Rodgers and the Packers. Either way, the point is he is not soft. He took the hit and finished the game

Doesn't matter when they have Herbert and that high powered offense.

But their quarterback is tearing it up. If only there was some way we could have drafted him.......

It's amazing what good players can do for a quarterback. Ekeler is 10+ yards Everytime he touches the ball.

400 yards, 4 TDs and no ints. Hmmmm.... Sounds like a QB that used to play here a long time ago. It's ok though, we've got a 6' 185lb QB with a noodle arm who gets hurt all the time.

I don't think anyone is crying because tua is a back up at best, we're upset at the colossal mistake this team made yet again. Herbert was there for the taking and they chose tua. Jesus Christ, if you're not upset about that, then you're not very smart. We had a franchise QB fall into our lap and screwed it up..... Again. This is gonna set this team back another decade. Look what passing on drew brees (twice) did for us. Oh and not only is tua not as good at Herbert now, he's never going to be

Exactly you're 54 go have a glass of whiskey and eat your frozen microwave dinner and go to a strip club or something.

Nobody feels bad for you. It's pathetic.

You may be 100% correct, and it’s looking increasingly likely that you will be. However, I’ve been an Oregon season ticket holder for a long time, and saw every one of Herberts snaps in college. Not I or anyone I know thought Herbert would be doing what he’s doing in the NFL. We all hoped it, but wouldn’t have bet on it. When it came down to the draft, I’d have made the same decision the Miami FO did.

I watch tons of college football, it's my favorite sport to watch. I really like how Herbert looked at Oregon. I liked the way he played. I didnt like tua one bit. I thought he was undersized and only looked good (when he was actually healthy enough to play) because be was surrounded by first round talent. I was very vocal on this forum before the draft, saying I hoped we drafted Herbert.

  35. Anyone that watched a lot of College football was more intrigued with herbert. He was far from perfect but had the natural gifts to succeed. Tua was a runt. Skilled, but sort of like the genetically compromised little one of the litter. Most of us know deep down why Tua was selected - it has been discussed a bit here. I will leave it at that. But from a football standpoint, the much better risk/reward was with Herbert. Only a person who doesn't understand risk/reward, doesn't watch much college football, or has another agenda (oh it's hardly a secret). Many fin fans fall into the latter two categories - they watch little football and are not very knowledgeable, are prone to social and media agendas, or are just pretty dumb. This is what happens when dumb people are swayed by agendas or lack of knowledge.....enjoy it, bathe in it, it is where you belong most likely.

Crazy times. Crazy crazy times. I'm convinced that when Tua returns, 60% of Dolphins "fans" will be hoping he plays like crap so they won't have to listen to other fans telling them how stupid they were. We have winners on both sides, but if think Tua sucks and you don't hope he comes in and proves your opinion wrong, then you're not among them.

It's not true because if Tua comes back and lights it up no one will care to prove themselves right about Tua to Joe Messageboard.

The haters have it good because if he doesn't do great they can say "I told you so I'm so smart at football". If he does great they can hop back on the wagon and not many will notice or care.
