Going back to week 17 last year the dolphins defence is giving up 35 pts per game.
    Defensive guru I think not.
I don't even need to bring up the offence!
Just like every other Patriot disciple he is a complete failure!Time to clean house again!
And Ross please sell the Damm team!

Sure does seem like it now. We lost all of the momentum we had last year and it looks like the Turnovers covered up a lot from what we’re seeing this year…

I am pissed at myself for falling for the false hope like I did with gase.

He‘s not Gase level for me, I still think he can become a good Coach but things definitely don’t look rosy right now and it looks like same old same old…

Most damning statistic is point differential. After W/L that's the most important stat (due to its extremely high correlation with win%), and we are well alone in last place there at -15 points per game. Jacksonville is 2nd worst but well above us at -11.8.

Basically, that's saying that when you combine offense and defense together we're currently the worst in the NFL in terms of scoring ability. Totally damning for Flores, and totally inexcusable to be THIS bad.

Next up are Jacksonville and Atlanta. If we play bad against them then you know we need a clean sheet at the end of this season.

Lets just see how things turn out when Tua comes back. I'm not ready to axe Flores, but this season looks like a bad one thus far.

Gase was oblivious to his flaws and never tried to change. IF Flores can't step back and evaluate what is wrong then he needs to go.

Trust me Tua is not going to save any season when u are giving up 35 pts a game. And who cares if we can beat the jags, jets or Texans. Its year 3 of rebuild and we need to be competing with the big boys!
So far against Bills and BUCS we have been outscored
    80-17.No excuse for that.

    Maybe but not guaranteed yet.
Last year happened, so that can't be ignored.

We've lost veterans this year. Who's fault was that? If Grier, he needs to go.
We lost coaches. We moved seemingly good position coaches to become inexperienced coordinators and got new position coaches.

If that was Grier too he needs to go.
The question is, how far was Flores involved?

Grier never answers questions. Someone put him on the press podium please.

He did a good job getting the team up to play as underdogs. That's great and a good sign of generalized leadership.

However, with the pressure on and real expectations this season, he is floundering. His coaching staff looks bad, his defense can't contain good offenses and we seem to be regressing in general.

We have heard Grier involves Flores with the roster. We can't assume Flores is innocent.

And either way where is the development? Almost everyone on the team looks awful.

Gase was a better coach than Flores has been through three years. Gase was in the playoffs his first season down here for Christ’s sake.

Another wasted coaching hire, a once-in-a-lifetime waste of fleecing someone in a trade. This team just puts me off wanting to even watch football.

I'm not saying he is. However, we've had major changes to the coaching staff. That's not conducive to development. So, if the changes are Flores then he's screwing up. However, if it comes down from above then we can't pin this on Flores yet.
    That's just reality.

You have to solve problems top down, not bottom up.

I'm not expecting Tua to "Save the season." I think you're assuming that was what I meant by that? NO, I don't expect Tua to come back and save the day for us. But I do think that it's going to be very very important for his development the rest of the year. In fact, THAT is what the remainder of this season should be about. Developing these young guys (especially Tua). No....Tua isn't going to stop the opposing teams offense from scoring 35 points per game against us. But how our very own offense performs, how he performs, his development, if he can stay healthy the rest of the way. Those are all very important building blocks towards next season. Lets also factor in guys like Austin Jackson, Holland, Phillips, Wilkins to an extent, Davis, Waddle of course. We are an incredibly young team and we need these guys to get as much experience as they can so that we can build for next season. Anyone expecting playoffs at this point is delusional. We clearly are not a playoff team. I really didn't think we were one last year to be honest. I think the expectations need to be tempered a little bit in regards to Flores and this roster. A lot us we bracing for a step or two back this year. I certainly did not see us as a contending team. I fully expected this to be a disappointing season. You could just feel it. I don't know, I know I could. Like I said, I think the rest of this season is going to be an extended audition for Tua and some of these other guys on this team.
Hey....Off topic...CAN ANYONE on here confirm if we do in fact have a first round pick this year? Do we get San Frans? I know they get ours.

I haven’t seen the game yet. Have it recorded to watch when I get home but uh…

Aren’t the Buccaneers the reigning Super Bowl champions with the GOAT as their quarterback? Is anyone truly surprised that we lost so badly?

By 70 points to them and Buffalo when we’re supposed to have a good defense and we were 10-6 last year?

We should not have done this badly given our defense is supposed to be our strong point, and all our starters on defense were playing, while Tampa bay was down four starters in their secondary.

Yet still we got walloped. We are no where near a playoff team.

Meanwhile, Herbert has thrown for almost 400 yards, with 4 TDs and no interceptions today, while we are still waiting on Tua to have even one game like that...

We can complain about that until the end of time. It doesn't change our current situation. You seem to bring this up every week as if we didn't know your stance or opinion on this. I mean...Congrats, you wanted Herbert, you're a big fan of him. I get it though, I really do. I did the same thing with Drew Brees for years. From 2006 on up until about 2016 I brought up how we could have had Drew Brees instead of Daunte Fatpepper. It really was a killer, but at the end of the day did nothing. I'm still a Fins fan, never jumped ship to Nawlins.

I heard on the radio on the way home Miami made history today! We are the only team in Bradys 22 years to give 400 yards Passing and 5 TD's to him... Let's go D!

This is a hard thing to admit here .
    Flores is certainly a problem.
The D is what was a disgusting piece of trash today. It was the D that cost them the game today.
The secondary? X? Jones? They were a joke today. They are now just stealing money from the team. Flo’s specialty is the secondary. The whole D, man. Just absolutely terrible. No excuses.
Hate to say it….they have to tear it all down and start over again!!!

Another terrible decision by Grier giving X all that guaranteed money. We knew X had already peaked and has chronic knee issues, yet spent all that money on him anyway. His level of play has taken a nose dive that last three weeks. Today he was absolutely horrendous, the game was blown wide open because he couldn't keep up with Antonio Brown.

I'm not defending Flores, but Tua's trainer is not exactly an unbiased observer. Shots have been fired between Flores and Grier, Flores let it be known that he wanted Herbert over Tua, so now Tua's trainer is obviously going to go after Flores.

Yeah, but X was Flo’s guy. As much as I want Grier gone as soon as possible, I think that move was all Flo’s influence. Very bad signs for Flo now. The secondary is a joke. Jones and X have been crap. Baker today? We keep getting gashed on long run plays. The D has been a total s—t show. Not good for Flo.

Not a fan of Cowher but without a GM to draft good players every coach will struggle to win.
