In all reality, Miami's chances went away went Tua went down.

Only the blind will not see that was the case.

I guess, but why let him empty the coffers. The o line is still garbage, and the play calling is suspect.

This is ignorant and just a plain Tua hatred post.

You don't have to love Tua to admit they would be better with him. There are plenty of reasons to be critical about having Tua without needing to be so disingenuous.

We are a joke again. About that time we start talk about tanking. Can't beat an 0-3 team with 3 OL out or something, that Jacoby was the former QB.

Who is that guy Sinnett(sp?) or whatever behind Brisett, I'd rather see him cause Jacoby always looks like he's moving in slow motion in live play.. it's not hard to tell that he is **** QB. But it is.. for the man that we've let waste two of the Best draft capital's the dolphins have ever enjoyed (back to back drafts) and what do we have to show for it? A running QB that's made of glass? Fire Chris Grier for God's sake... The Dolphins' sake. Then actually poach a decent GM/Head scout from somewhere which is the head of the mistake besides the Owner of whom I will not speak cause he's worse at his job than anyone else and can't be fired. Anyway, Grier freakin sucks at evaluating talent. He was good at collecting draft picks that was his only value, but those are no use if you can't scout and 'think beyond hype.' And you don't really need to think that hard, all you need is to see, and you know a good football player. Sorry to say Grier doesn't recruit many Elite prospects, and thusly should not be running this franchise.. into the ground.. yet again..

This sucks, my whole life sucks, I feel like I've been cursed to be a Dolphins fan I was born in 85. We are always either a joke or mediocre in my 36 this month (years) of life. How is this not a curse?

What's worse is I'm a Gators fan, and they have no teeth, I knew they were overrated. Great 4 week football season guys! Been fun! I'll keep my eyes on my team(s) of course but probably not nearly as close. I don't need to relive 1-15 Cam Cameron/Cleo Lemon debacle. But at the same time I would like to tank, because I want another shot at a top pick without Chris Grier making it. And that pick should be a QB. I've lost more and more faith in Tua. Even when healthy he's a slightly better version of Sinnett in a smaller package. No Velocity on anything beyond 10 yards. Another noodle-arm, that is made of glass. I told everybody, the pick should be Justin Herbert.(Imagine my post history proves that and many more things I've been right about on this team) Anybody lurking out there that works for the franchise? Hire me and pay me millions of dollars you'll have a better team to hire the average sensible fan to scout recruits FAs/trades as well as draft picking. That's what makes me most ashamed of this team. I am the average fan not special not super smart, but I somehow know this team and football better than the people running this team, and I'm sure I can say the same for most of the other posters on here, cause it seems only knowledgeable fans are left on this site these days.

It would have been very different since Tua excels in the "short game" with the screens, slants, etc. Brissett is not Tua and he should not be asked to run that style of offense. This wasn't a Brissett or a Tua problem- it was a failure of the coaching staff to have a game plan.

What's the point of tanking when you don't even own your own 1st round pick!?! Thank Grier for that. Our 1st round pick is SF's so you need to hope they lose a ton.

I’m by no means a Tua fan and definitely was against drafting him but he does have a higher QB rating than Brisset. Would it have been enough to overcome horrible penalties and special teams mistakes, probably not.

Yes. Tua would not have won that game either.

Would they have been out of the game with 3 quarters left to play?

Well, if my belief is that they wouldnt have won with him playing, how long they would have been in the game is irrelevant. Tua can not carry a team on his back and will them to win like Marino used to. If tua isn't surrounded by top notch talent, he's just pedestrian

Forgot about that blunder for a second. Griers blessings never stop giving I guess. Oh well, play the season out preferably with anybody other than Jacoby Brisett that you don't have to trade for then grow a pair and fire this chump Grier. Course, we're gonna have to wait for Ross to to grow a pair, he should have been gone last year.

The Dolphins always do this. Give people to long in their 'all too important' job roles. Be it GM, HC, QB.

No I'd give Flores 1 more season to make the playoffs, or he's out too. I'm sick of 'waiting' for **** to happen. If it's not happening, it's time to go make it happen. At this rate I'll be dead long before I see my team in a superbowl.
