Bad bad game we all know it falls right I. Coaching for me. We lost today because we put players in bad positions and we’re out classed and coached first half and most of second IMHO. However the question become if TUA is hurt and we don’t make the playoffs what do we do with Flores? Would you resign him or let him go into next year without a contract extension I believe it’s his final year on the original deal?? Has he done enough to stay?

If I was Ross I would keep him 2 more years but tell him he needs capable offensive and defensive coordinators and he should coach.

we need to fix the online issue and there were plenty of high end talented free agents we could have had but chose not to.

I’m not going to have them tell me wait a few more years I’m pretty done with the excuses when plenty of teams have turned around things in short time I’m done waiting for growth.

I’m still happy with the job he’s been able to do. It’s not his fault either his GM or owner passed on Herbert for a guy who can’t stay healthy. Tough to win games when you don’t have a franchise QB and have an inexperienced, young OL. I think he’s shown enough to see if he can build this team and hopefully get another crack at a franchise QB before moving on from him.

I was done with Flores when Chan Gailey joined the staff.

But if you can't even put a fight against the bills what's the point?
They have lost by a combined average of 32.5 half points the last 2 games!

Flores seems completely lost on offense. Has no clue how to put together a staff or pick players.

Flores is a defense guy and the loss today wasn’t on the D. They gave up five scores but forced 2 turnovers and held Buffalo on their side of the field for most of the second quarter. The offense was inept kept giving the ball back to Buffalo without scoring.

Grier is more the one that needs to be on the hot seat imo.

I wonder if we make a play doe Watson now. I want Tua to succeed, but man he's NOT showing enough and now injured. Ugh.

That said, we need to get a real OC in here yesterday. Gaily was a horrendous error and this Co-OC nonsense is just compounding it.

I forgot about Watson- but what's the point? Is he even eligible to play this season? I'm thinking that maybe the league hasn't suspended him/exempted him so the Texans had a chance at a trade.

Still, no thanks. It is more tempting today than it was a few weeks ago, but we still have no idea if he'll be suspended or even go to jail. It would have to be cheap and I don't think it will happen.

You guys are being too soft...

    Flores should be disemboweled
    Steven Ross should be flayed
The entire offensive line needs to be castrated so they can not contaminate the rest of society
The offensive coaching staff should be decapitated and their brains donated to science
The receiving corps should have their hands amputated
Jakeem Grant should be racked to stretch him to an NFL height

Let's see, what other ridiculous actions should be taken?

I agree with Dorf...this team should be embarrassed! A slap in the face as a wake up call. Just being good isn't good enough. You actually have to produce on the field. Flores has shown what he can do with less than stellar players. It's time for that leadership to step up and fix these player right quick and in a hurry!

Flores should be forced to hire a competent offensive coordinator.

It may be time to remove personnel power from Flores then, especially as it concerns offense.

Well.. I'm just going to say "overreaction" is correct. We're 1-1, Tua is coming back it seems (which is good because we really need to know whether he can improve or not), and while I totally agree we don't have good coaching on offense, that loss yesterday by no means suggests this season is going to be bad. It might be, but not based on yesterday.

We have the Raiders, Colts, Bucs, Jags, Falcons and the Bills again coming up. If we don't at least split 3-3 given that the Falcons, Colts and Jags are in there then I'll start to worry.

Maybe I'm stating the obvious, but it's worth pointing out that we had a pretty darn good LT in a guy named Laremy Tunsil.

While we received a haul of picks for that trade, was it really worth it looking back? It got us Tua, for example, but it's also getting Tua killed on the field.

If I would have known Jeff Ireland Jr was drafting with those picks…. Joking aside, I’d do that trade every day. I just hope Grier doesn’t completely piss it down his leg.

It's beginning to be more and more obvious that the nightmare scenario has come true. We got buttloads of picks and then an incompetent GM wasted most of them. Austin Jackson is a joke. Tua was not worth the fifth overall pick--he might eventually be a good QB, but he wasn't worth where he was taken. Noah Igbenogene was a reach. Jalen Waddle is a good WR, but we should have taken Sewell. We still have a crap O line and a crap defensive middle. And worse, while we can and do scheme around our bad defensive middle because Flores is an excellent defensive coach, we can't do anything offensively because our Wonder Twin O-coordinators are idiots.

An offensive coordinator isnt taking a job if they dont like the pieces on it, theyre not putting their resume on the line on a quarterback they dont believe in. So flores instead has to look at what wide receiver, offensive line or quarterback coach is interested in the job and pray he strikes gold..
