Jakeem Grant will be part of the Miami Dolphins‘ deep and talented wide receiver group in 2021 after agreeing to a contract restructure that is worth up to $3 million this year, a source tells Pro Football Network.

The reworked deal removes the final two years from his existing deal, ensuring Grant becomes a free agent in 2022.

Boo. I was really hoping that we were finished with him.

I am hoping he fixed his issues so that he can put that talent on the field.

He should strictly be returning kicks and punts this season.

Waddle is going to be their best receiver by far. Not Parker, not Fuller. Waddle is going to be Tua's go to guy at receiver.

Well glad he did that. That way he can stay on the team there. Good for him.

I don't see that happening in year one. Maybe in year two, but I think that's also unlikely.

For 2021, I expect Waddle to be the #3 WR, and the #4 or #5 target, also behind Gesicki and possibly Gaskin in balls thrown his direction. Probably something akin to OJ McDuffie's second year, with around 500 yards receiving and a lot of chances on returns. I really liked what I saw from him on his PR vs the Bears more than almost anything we've had on returns in quite a while. Definately since Landry, but probably since Ginn.

The guys route running is really crisp. I think he's going to get a lot of targets.
