For some reason I almost enjoy cuts day as much as draft day. I think it's because draft day symbolises the start of a new season whilst cuts day tells us that the new season is ready to begin.
LOL, I'm just the opposite. As I get older, I think more and more...darn, that dude just lost his job and missed out on his dream. What if he has kids to feed? I feel bad for these guys and horrible for the coaches that are letting them go. It's the worst part of being a leader.
Enjoy might have been a poor choice of words on my part. There's just something about it that gets the blood pumping even more than the opening day of camp or the start of the pre-season games. Like that final marker to say; The new season is here, time to get excited.
I get what you’re saying key but, this all the more reason to take your college education seriously. Life is forever, football isn’t.
The same guys that say this kid is gonna make it somewhere are the same guys that said Luke Falk is going to be a star one day.
The guy got in great shape trying to rejuvenate his career.. still couldnt cut it with the eagles tho
Just a tidbit - not a cut USA TODAY Sports Chase Claypool apparently got into a fight teammate Minkah Fitzpatrick at practice on Monday. Various reports from practice on Monday indicate that star wide receiver Chase Claypool and Pro Bowl safety Minkah Fitzpatrick got in a heated fight. “They’re competitors. You almost expect it to happen at least once,” guard Kevin Dotson told reporters after practice. Meanwhile, Pittsburgh Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin refused to elaborate on the fight. Other indications were that the two star players threw blows at one another in the end zone during the end of practice. As information about the scrape was breaking, other Steelers players spoke out about the incident. “We understand we don’t want – especially our star players, we don’t want anyone getting hurt,” defensive lineman Tyson Alualu said.
I was very surprised when they let Benardrick McKinney go. This Ds biggest weakness is stopping the run and that is what Benardrick was good at and by all accounts, he was looking very good in camp. I know this staff likes speed and versatility, but this team really needs a thumping run stuffer.
Yeah, I like Roberts, but he is more of a niche player. He's good at shooting one gap, but he has a tendency to get lost at times and get out of position. He's very good at firing the one gap. I just think, if healthy, Mckinney would have been a better overall fit for the D.
