Well, lets not go crazy. This will be his third year on the team and he's 28. But hopefully he can stay healthy and be a productive reserve and ST guy.
He's 28? LOL, isn't that about the age we got Wake?!? You're making Galant's case for him! On a more serious note, we'll probably never see a Wake 2.0 in the league since that's such a crazy path. But man, it's fun to dream and a 4 sack night is pretty legendary in its own right.
Wake was also a highly motivated physical monster. As much drive as Eguavoen might have, he just doesn't have the size to dominate that way. But I'm hoping he can be a bigger contributor.
Man, I'd be happy if this is a sign of things to come. I'm not going to try to compare him to Cam because the highlight of Eguavoen's career was a standout performance in a preseason game. But hearing his press conference and hearing him talk about his little brother's struggle with epilepsy definitely makes me want him to be Sam Wake. That's Hollywood stuff right there.
I was very impressed. I know it's only preseason, but it's great motivation. I hope he does well when it counts.
