Heard on Komo4 news tonight rumors he might be headed to the Phins. I'm hopeful. Carson and Gaskin and Ahmed, an all PNW backfield for South Beach is exciting for me I must say.
Ummm...no. Seahawks re-signed Chris Carson to a two-year contract. There is a void year attached to the end of the contract to spread the money out more evenly, but this likely locks in Carson as the featured back for 2021 and 2022. It's Carson's best landing spot for fantasy purposes, especially after the recent offensive coordinator saga. Carson should see 15-20 touches weekly as a fringe RB1/2. It's worth questioning if the Seahawks should have invested this money at running back with so many holes along the offensive line. Mar 19, 2021, 7:44 PM ET
We still have 41 days until the draft. May have to invest in a sensory deprivation chamber until then.
Don't mean we weren't in discussions with him and his agent, it's like in the Wire when they talk about "The Game", we might have been used when Carson and his people expressed interest but that doesn't mean it was a bluff, if Seattle didn't give them what they wanted, he very might have been a Dolphin. And that's why we tango when the odds are thin.
Hey Ronnie. Been a while. How you been man? You're absolutely correct. And, I wasn't trying to imply anything other than he didn't sign with us. Kinda wish he did actually. Really like the player, and for what Seattle paid to re-sign him I would've found a way to pay a little more if I'm the 'Phins GM. Alas, I'm not. Therefore, CC is still a Seahawk. All that said, if the 'Phins don't out of the draft with one of Eitienne, Harris, or Williams, I'm gonna be super disappointed.
