Godwin is tagged. So he's not available.

Golladay will not be tagged so will become a FA.

    Release Parker?

Isn't Parker like a worse version of Golladay?

I'm all for finding players of ALL positions that can stay healthy and play if that applies to Golladay. We have too many players that are good players but miss way too much game time. Parker definitely falls into that category.

I think Will Fuller is a name that I would keep my eye on.

The Miami Herald reports the Dolphins are "expected to show considerable interest" in free agent Kenny Golladay.
Beasley is also reporting that "one league source went so far as to predict Golladay ends up either with the Dolphins or the Giants." The Lions' surprising decision to let Golladay walk has let a special talent loose on the open market, one who should drive an immense bidding war. On the rise with a young quarterback and money to burn, the Dolphins check all the boxes for an appealing free agent destination.

Agreed. I am someone who generally doesn't like getting rid of players to add players. However, this feels different as both of them serves similar roles, however Golladay is just better, healthier and more consistent.

Though it would be a sizable cap hit if MIami does release Parker.

Ew. Injury prone, popped for substances, never had to be a #1 really. No thanks.

Same goes for TY on anything but a minimum contract, old and injury prone.

I'd take Golladay, but at a top price I wouldn't be thrilled. He had a pretty rough year this year and little history of being a top guy, it's all projection.

Unless we pull a trade, it seems mostly a bunch of 2s will be available. Corey Davis and Curtis Samuel and Marvin Jones all interest me at the right price. Pair them with a highly drafted rook (or two) and Parker. Add Aaron Jones or draft one of the top RBs, it's go time.

I'd be ok with Golladay or Aholor paired with drafting a WR with one of our first round picks.

If we signed Gollady, traded back to Carolina and took Pitts and then drafted some combo of Bateman, Moore, Toney or Wallace, I'd feel pretty good about our passing attack. We could then focus on Williams or Carter in the 2nd round and take best pass rusher available with 18 and 81.

I am pretty much with you. If Golladay is getting crazy money, I would gladly pass. You are right when you say a lot of those guys (if not all of them) are #2 WRs.

I see TY as a guy who is fading, and I wouldn't want to be on the hook for his deal long term.

I see Will Fuller and Corey Davis as guys who have had moments where they looked like #1s, but like you said about Fuller, injuries and substance issues are concerns. I do think that when he is actually on the field, he has been good. He has speed to burn, and he scores TDs.

Corey Davis reminds me of Devante Parker. He has a few games where you see why he was a first round pick, he has a few games where I think he should not be on the team. Parker also seems to miss a few games, but with Davis, that is less of a concern.

Not a WRx but Aaron Jones has apparently not been tagged.

I don't know if we have the money, but him, Linsley and a second tier WR would be a nice haul and let us be draft flexible.

Trade back and take Pitts at 8ish, take an OLB at 18, take another WR in round 2 and then do what you like.

I could go into the season with a weapon group of WR: Parker, Terrance Marshall, Curtis Samuel and Josh Reynolds, RB Aaron Jones and TEs Pitts and Mike G. Barring regression from the young guys you have a solid OL with a good bench as well.

What about Corey Davis? 5th overall pick from the 2017 draft, good size, good hands, and he's a year younger than Golladay. He should also be cheaper.

I'm wondering if signing a WR like Golladay makes us more likely to draft TE Pitts rather than a WR early in the draft. If so I'm all for it.

So, with the mega-contract Dallas gave to Dak, they are probably looking at making cap room over the next couple years.

They may look to trade Amari Cooper and even Ezekiel Elliot. Cooper is due like $20 million this year, and he's had some minor nagging injuries, but it might be a situation where the Cowboys actually GIVE a pick along with Cooper to clear cap space.

Would a Miami seventh rounder for Cooper and a Dallas fifth rounder be tempting?

As for Elliot, I feel like he has hit the RB wall, so he'll never be the player he was several years ago. He'd be worth it at a reduced price, but he is supposed to make $22 million over the next two years, so hard pass on that.

I'd be good with that. I'd really prefer to trade down a few spots first though.

Just get some guys who can hold on to passes that hit their hands. Do that and we start have longer drives, score more and rely less on the defense for stops.

We need to double dip. FA/draft or twice in the draft, our WR core needs major upgrades.

ESPN's Dianna Russini reports the Titans won't re-sign Corey Davis or Jonnu Smith.

It was clear Smith was on his way out of Tennessee when the team didn't use the franchise tag on him. Davis was never likely to return to the Titans, and will now enter free agency as a second-tier option for receiver-needy teams. The 26-year-old former first round draft pick should garner interest from at least a few NFL teams after his best season as a pro. In 2020, he posted a career high in receptions (65), receiving yards (984), and touchdowns (5), operating as the Titans' default No. 1 wideout when A.J. Brown missed time with a knee injury.

Free agency starts today, doesn't it? I have a feeling that there are going to be so many player cut that it will be almost senseless to trade.

Nah that's pretty terrible actually. Relying on a dude who has barely seen the field in like 2 years is not a good way to run the offense or set up a young QB to succeed.

Honestly i hope we dont sign any of the receivers left.. i dont think theyre worth the coin theyre going to ask for... the dolphins should turn their attention to possible trades, maybe theres a top receiver that is availanle just like Diggs and Hopkins were last year.
