I think there's going to be so many free agents available this season that it's going to be hard to get a grasp on who to look at. Lots of names you wouldn't expect to hit free agency.
One thought I had about the FA opportunities this offseason is that it may be more attractive than usual given the limited opportunities to evaluate the college talent coming in. Guys like Thuney may be much more likely to give the desired results than the draft pool.
With the trade for Wilson and last years draft picks, I say we stick with what we have and only sign OL for depth or a possible replacement for Karras, if they decide to part ways. Ideally, we could draft Humphrey in the 2nd round and sign someone with versatility to play C/G.
I'd rather get C Corey Linsley from Green Bay. We need a center and he's among the leagues best, also young. We don't need a Guard, let alone a high priced one.
Fisher tore his Achilles in the AFC Championship Game. He won't be ready until week 10 - 12. But lots of quality O Lineman are available.
