Following on from the news that some unnamed players weren't happy with Tua - or at least, convinced in his talents - could those feelings lead to trades of dissatisfied players and players who spoke out when they knew Flores wanted them to keep quiet?

The players have never officially been named but one likely candidate is Vince Biegel owing to this Tweet where he approves of the idea of Watson coming to Miami:

Other players have also been hinted at.

It may be impossible to tell, but if Miami stick with Tua, maybe that influences some other offseason moves.

I thought Biegel was a free agent?

He is, yes. And while I know that he has a fan club here for whatever reason, he'll be 28 years old this year and has started ten games in the NFL. Anything more than a veteran minimum contract is too much.

He was injured last year, I believe. Haven't looked at his status now.

If you asked players would you rather have deshaun or tua as your starting quarterback, obviously 1000% of them would say Deshaun. There isnt a GM, coach or player in the NFL that would take Tua over Deshaun. Theres some fans that are probably high off shrooms that may want Tua over Deshaun, but thats it.

making a transaction happen is a whole other conversation.. especially when you saw what Stafford was traded for.

Players say a lot of things in confidence- look at the report a few years ago that several players were angry at the new direction of the team. There was a grain of truth to that and Minkah did want out, but that's certainly not the norm. Most will not approach the front office and start making demands.

This story is about Tua's future and honestly, I think it's 100% overblown. He was coming off major surgery and the team babied him along to keep him safe- of course he didn't throw for a billion yards. Players and coaches get that, but very few are going to say "I want out if he's our QB next year." It's simply a bad career move that rarely has good long-term outcomes.

I mean, look at Wallace- he said that about Tannehill and then bounced from team to team to team trying to find the perfect fit. The reason he never found it was because the real problem was him and his diva attitude. I can't say I regret him moving onto greener pastures and becoming someone else's headache.
