The game thread is quite hard to read today, have to agree. Seems like they’re having a blast today...
To be fair, have you seen anything to feel overly positive about? It's just realism to be negative sometimes.
If we score a TD here its not over simply because it seems like Allen is done. It wont be a satisfying win however, but I'd take it.
This offense reminds me alot of Gase's offense in his final years with Tannehill. Feels like there's no faith in the system there either by the QB in the system/plays, or the OC/playcaller in the QB and unit itself on the field. Ultra conservative every step of the way by everyone. Im not saying which it is... but our base offense shows no identity or confidence whatsoever. Only way we move the ball is with trick plays or a good solid run.
There was about 8 blocks in the back on that punt return. A late hit on the reverse screen. Holdings on Van Ginkel all day. Refs were told to keep the flags in the pocket. Unless they throw one and then pick it up.
I just don’t think there’s a lot you can do as a coach when your QB isn’t good, your WR’s aren’t good and your OL is somewhere between bad and below average.
D looked good in the beginning, look at the circumstances young team really good team we‘re playing against, refs do their part. I saw Tua struggling but the game ain’t over yet + who expected us to be here in the first place?
Right but in a game thread we are reacting to the game. The season has high points and was great but this game is discouraging. .
I'll just be honest, the offense doesnt even look like it wants to play with Tua back there. It isnt just Tua, everyone just brings more energy with Fitz.
Buffalo is showing us showing us that in today’s NFL it doesn’t matter how good your defense is when you’ve got a good OL, elite QB and receivers
