Igbinogene was essentially tackled on the opposite side of the field. Looked like there was a block in the back or hold halfway through the return too that coulda been called. Either way though, would have been just delaying the inevitable.
That's the "block" right there that CBS is celebrating by 45 that I thought shoulda been a hold. Hands were way to the outside the duration of the block even before what they showed.
It's been another inconsistent and average game from him IMO. Not that he has much out there to work with though. CBS made a good point earlier though talking about Gailey saying this is really only his 2nd game if this was a regular year. first 4 could be considered "pre-season" experience, this really being what would have been his second game.
I don't like how the OC is turning Tua into a Dink&Dunk QB. Thought his accuracy and arm were stronger. Oh well.
He’s missing throws but I can’t blame this on Tua. We don’t have one legitimate starting WR playing right now. Honestly, most of these guys would be on KC’s practice squad
I guess it's Fitzpatrick time or Flores better ride it with Tua for the rest of the season, so he can find out if a QB is needed in the Next Draft.
Preventive Defense only prevent teams from winning. I have no idea why we changed the aggresive defense to just let Mahomes sit there and pick us apart.
What the **** Tua. He's so confused out there it looks like at times. At least the third time today he's just stood there like a deer in headlights. Didn't look like anyone was remotely open, but move. Throw it away. Do something. You can't take a safety man.
We have the worst running backs in the NFL. They look forward to be tackled & go down even before they get touched.
Before we start piling on let’s remember we’ve got one of the youngest teams in the NFL who’ve been decimated with injuries at key positions, playing several rookies going against the reigning Super Bowl champs.
Nope. You can't stand there and take a safety. It's really that simple. That was a total rookie brainfart, and KC's DC has done it to him several times today. As have others. Looked confused on the coverage again as pointed out already in this broadcast today. That's fine; he's a rookie. I'd expect that, but you can't not have the awareness of where you are on the field to take a safety. We blasted Tannehill for years for his "lack of pocket awareness", that was a textbook example of a rookie QB confused, and lacking awareness of his surroundings because of it. It's not being harsh, it's just the fact of the matter.
Why do you get so sensitive over this? Nobody has put this game on him that I've seen. Stop it already.
We watched them rebuild the D last year, and lay the ground work for building the Offense with the OL. I can't wait to see them add playmakers on offense this year to give Tua something to work with other than the garbage we have now.
Pretty sure that's OPI on 35 there. Flag maybe? Spot on throw from Tua. Another rocket there to Bowden. When Tua can step into those throws he's got a rocket.
Just get Tua some help, man. Chase, Etienne, Waddle, Golladay, JuJu, Gurley, whatever. He's got nothing out there.
Like it better how you put it in this version, got to agree but there was not much he could do in that situation.
